1) updated but its either all a DIY or subpar contractors. 2) Beds are hard, uncomfortable, and don¿t feel stable. 3) they have dishes in the room but only place to wash them is in the basement where the laundry is 4)Little/no hot water to shower

Great location close to beach and plenty of nearby food choices and bars

The beds were without a doubt the worst I've ever slept on

No hubo limpieza. La temperatura de la habitacion y del hotel fue muy fria, lo cual es un desperdicio de energia. Llame para que me solucionen esto pero nadie se hizo cargo. Lamentable

Only got towels to use for the whole weekend. Air wouldn¿t cut off. Water would randomly stop working

This place is all about location at a decent price.

Wished I had known there was no elevator. AC was a small window unit that barely kept up and didn't keep the street noise out on a busy Saturday nite. Bed was minimally satisfactory.

Building was very clean and maintained

NO ELEVATOR! We were on the top floor with 5 pieces of luggage for a 9 day cruise. We got our exercise in when leaving.The front desk host helped us take the luggage up. That was very helpful. Since you dont have an elevator, ask the guest if they need help taking the luggage down if they are assigned to the 3rd floor would be my suggestion.

The staff was very friendly. The property was close to many shops, restaurants and the beach!

Missing elevator. Staff was not commenting clearly about requirements for cleaning the room. We asked them many times and she says you need to tell us 24 hours a head, and every time we tell her, she ignores us. Staff was only focusing on selling us the deals for touring and renting cars. Although, there were a lot of signs and posters of these things in the hotel. Staff was not helpful sometimes

We really liked that the room had several kitchen utensils, a microwave, and a small refrigerator, which made our stay more convenient. The location is excellent. We also appreciated having a shared kitchen and laundry area on the lower floor. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was very good throughout our stay.

Although there is a laundry area, we had an issue with the detergent machine. When inserting the coins, the detergent did not come out. We asked for help at the front desk, but unfortunately, we were told that nothing could be done, and we ended up losing the money.We also think it would be helpful to have a sink inside the room so guests can wash dishes more easily. Additionally, room cleaning every two days upon request would be a nice improvement.Lastly, we had an uncomfortable situation with a front desk staff member during the late-night shift, which made us feel uneasy. This negatively impacted our experience and should be addressed.

On one occasion someone opened my room door but closed it when I said something. No elevator, desk help is not all the time so pack light or get a hernia.

Excellent location!

Unable to control room temperature, the air conditioner was way too cold with the air blowing directly on you. Worse yet, you couldn’t just kick back in the room because it was so cold.We received an sms a couple of days before arriving, requiring us to fill out all our information (uploading photo ID with credit card details and such online). That was a surprise since we had already paid through Booking and I didn’t know if it was a scam or legit. If you don’t fill out all the information you can’t get the code for your room key. I explained to them that I was uncomfortable doing so and would fill out the information once we arrived, but they did not respond to messages either. Just very stressful…

Perfectly positioned

The room's floor was full of long hair. Like, a lot, and pretty disgusting. I had the impression cleaners didn't use a vacuum for a long time. This was the only big negative point of a place otherwise not bad.

The only redeeming quality of Nine20 Collins is its location—just 2 blocks from the beach and Ocean Drive. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.

Our room was rundown with spotty WiFi and an extremely loud window AC unit. Midway through our stay, management turned on the central air without warning, making our room unbearably cold. With no staff at the front desk, we had to text and message multiple times requesting blankets or to have the temperature adjusted. We never received a single response.The sudden activation of what appears to be a poorly maintained HVAC system triggered a severe allergy attack, likely from accumulated dust and allergens being blown into our room.To make matters worse, their automated system bombarded both my husband and me with endless repetitive emails and texts throughout our stay. Despite reaching out about our issues, we still haven't heard from an actual person.Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere. Great location isn't worth the lack of basic comfort and complete absence of customer service.

Location was nice

The room was filthy and unhygienic. There were bogeys on the sheets and pillows, and there was mold in the bathroom.

I love how clean and pretty the lobby and rooms are. The decor is really lovely, and it feels spacious. I love having it feel like an apartment /home with a broom for sweeping, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster , cutting board and silverware! I especially found it convenient they had credit card operated laundry machines downstairs as well as kitchenette for any extra cooking that is needed. I absolutely love the location with many great restaurants in walking distance and being one block away from the beautiful beach. The value and price of this hotel is unbeatable. I've stayed at this hotel at least 3x now and would absolutely come back again (if I have less luggage). Their luggage storage is good but it's only really available with staff until 6pm I think? However I love that they give you beach towels to use while you wait for your room! Falling asleep on a sunny beach while waiting to check-in was dreamy.

I REALLY wish they had an elevator. It's the major downside and the only thing that makes this place not a 10/10. It's tough walking up and down with any heavy luggage especially if on the 3rd floor. Also the mattress in my room was not super comfortable. Half of it was already depressed by previous guests, but at least the 2nd half was okay and I was able to still sleep well with no pain. The pillows are not bad. The noise from outside is pretty loud but then again it's on Collins Ave near many lively bars a block away. With ear plugs, it's fine. The hotel itself and guests were quiet. The check-in took a very long time with not many staff, but once I got through, it was very efficient.

3rd floor and no lift, a heads up would help.air conditioner is old and noisy, we were driving while instructions were sent so it made checking in more complicated as it is remote

I always stay at The 920 when I'm in South Beach Great staff especially Juda he always has looked out for me. It's a great value at a good location
