Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach

Staff was nice.

Location is extremely hard to find. Private transportation driver had to circle block 3 times to find hotel entrance.

Nice, clean room. Good sized bath and shower. Comfortable bed. Decent location. Elevators were reasonably speedy. Water and coffee in the lobby. First shift desk agents were super nice. Valet guys and Nico were very helpful as well. Happy with my stay!

The bed slides on the hardwood floors a little too easily. The bed would shift quite a bit if you toss and turn at night (or other bedroom activites)

Hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. The free area shuttle was great. And since it rained every day the umbrellas at the front desk were right on time. But my favorite was the free wine hour every day!!

It was regular. Also I feel it¿s over priced

There was no where to eat breakfast at this hotel. We did find that coffee was available, but we were not made aware of this. The room was so small it was difficult to move around in it.

I thought the room was clean and valet was kind.

We asked for towels, they weren¿t brought to our room. Some of the staff was rude. We needed a rack to bring our luggage out and asked for it, never got it.

They would not honor the room with hat we had reserved. We paid for a room with a harbor view and we¿re told there were no available harbor view rooms and that the website had incorrect information. However, the higher level floors did provide a view.

Nice Bright Room. Nice Lobby Spaces and rooftop pool areas.

Coffee is only offered in lobby in morning. The Gym is tiny and insignificant. My room's deadbolt did not work, but the other two locks did.

Not accommodating, the staff did not speak English made it hard for us to communicate.

None of our requests regarding rooms were fulfilled. They gave us queen beds in stead of king the room. No roller way beds was available. There was no microwave available in the rooms or on the property to use.

Upon check in, I was told that the room I booked was not available & had to pay for an upgrade costing an extra $45 a night in order to stay. There was an additional $49 a night in taxes and made up fees charged. Most of the amenities were not available.

I booked for a king bed with balcony and water view . I received a handicapped room with a view of the street and dry cleaners a and two blocks over was a section of a river. False advertising.

The staff was friendly. He location was very convenient.

Every day at some point my bathroom light would either go out or begin to flicker uncontrollably. 2 different engineers came to fix it but the problem still continued. The manager decided to remove one night of amenity fees off of our bill.

I loved everything! The room was great. The pool was amazing. The staff was phenomenal. I also really enjoyed the beach access at the sister hotel.

Hardware is great. Sound isolation very good.

Staff was not very nice in general. Asked for things several times but never had follow up. Inconvenient to not have coffee maker in the room.

Great location, welcoming and professional staff, clean room and facilities, nice rooftop pool and lounging area

Bar was closed because of Covid and ran out of pool towels at one stage but everything else about our stay was fantastic
