Iberostar Waves Miami Beach

When we check in the woman was very nice, pleasant, and friendly. However, upon check out the man was not warm, needs to be more personable, and friendly. I feel being in the hotel business you need to be friendly, not cold nor rushed.

Staff friendly and helpful

First room had Very loud air conditioner. They moved me to second room. Second room had no running water in the shower. When they fix that, I couldn?t turn it off. Other than that it wasn?t too bad.

Concierge was friendly. Pool was nice. Bed comfy. Good location between beach and Miami Convention Center.

There was a surprise $45 "resort charge" upon arrival and a $250-ish deposit on the room. Every time I go to FL, there's a surprise fee not included on these travel-based apps. "Free cancellation" up to 3 days before check in. Usually it's 24 hours.

The hot water doesn¿t work during the night time. Stayed in the hotel for 5 days and the hot water would not work after 10pm until the morning! Could not take showers during night time.

The location was perfect. It wasn¿t far from clothing stores, restaurants, CVS and other places. I was there for more than a week. The hotel was walking distances from the Miami Convention Center and the New World Center where I was working for the week!

No amenities .. like iron, microwave, I don¿t know why we had to pay 160.00 as a resort fee i there are no resort services .a lot of information was not disclosed to us like a 300.00 deposit .. I will never stay here again .

The hotel rooms was super small, I booked king room that was supposed to be bigger than normal king room, NOT the case the room was so small you had to get up let person walk pass to get on the bed. No microwave, tv went out, room was very outdated .. bu

This location was perfect walking distance to the beach. Staff was great and hotel was clean and smelled good.

I loved the location. Easy walking distance to Miami Beach restaurants without being amongst them. Rooftop pool very nice. Cafe area very comfortable.

Room was smaller than looked in pictures. No microwave. Not an ideal hotel to have a business Zoom call.

It¿s a small hotel. Carpet in the room dirty and room smells even though the staff were cleaning every day. They probably need to replace the old carpet. The pool on the roof doesn¿t have enough chairs to lay down. Will not come back.

Hotel was great. Clean, nice view.

Hotel room was a bit small. Staff wasn' as knowledgeable as I would have liked. Gave us the wrong directions for trolley. Literally could have walked out of the hotel to the left towards Washington St. But No. Valet was confused. Over charged us.

rooms are small even though i never been in one it¿s a little bigger than a jail cell. The incidental deposit is $300 so not worth it I¿ve stayed better places with a far less incidental fee. An i have been itching since i left i have a rash on my arms

Rooms were pretty small and hard to move around with two people. Check in was pretty slow

The hotel was in walking distance to everything! The rooftop pool was gorgeous and very relaxing.

To improve this facility the hotel should think about adding ice machines on the floors as opposed to having to bug the front desk. A restaurant would also be a nice touch.
