The property was clean, the location is perfect, right across the beach. Parking is convenient. Front desk super helpful and accommodating.

Sun Harbour is unique, in that it is a small two story hotel set among high rises. We stayed in a two bedroom (2 bath) unit with kitchen; lots of space. This was our fifth visit. The pool is never crowded (I don't think we ever shared it), there is no elevator to wait for, or valet to deal with. Because the hotel is small, every room is about 30 seconds from the main entrance or your parked car. The beach is right across the street, and the hotel provides towels, chairs, and umbrellas. It is far and away a better experience than all the 5 star high rises up and down the beach. It is also a 5 minute walk from dozens of good restaurants and shops. A car is completely unnecessary. On our last day, our flight was at 10pm, and the manager told us to check out as late as we liked and to just enjoy the day. That is amazing service.

Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was convenient. No resort fee was appreciated.

The hotel was on a very, very busy main road. The traffic was loud, horns were honking most of the time. Loud cars and motorcycles stopping at the light right at the hotel day and night. It was so annoying I couldn’t sit out at the pool, which was also right by the main road. Not a very relaxing area. There was an alley with an ugly dumpster that we had to look at from the bedroom. And, a kids daycare next door also ruined the ambiance.The room appeared clean but once you got in, it was pretty dirty. I had to clean and dust the furniture since it didn’t look like they did that for a while. The floors and baseboards were also dusty. In general the room was surface cleaned but not completely clean. Finally, the room was dark even though it had windows. Just didn’t feel inviting. To get to the beach, you had to cross this very busy 4 lane main road with the loud cars, crazy drivers, horns honking, motorcycles, etc. I didn’t feel safe., which was stressful.I know the hotel can’t control the traffic, but at least tell people what to expect. Don’t tell them it’s a quiet boutique hotel when it’s not.

Fantastic location close to the beach. Very friendly staff. Close to shops and restaurants. Boutique hotel that is an enclave among skyscrapers.

Very spacious with a separate living area and kitchen

We stay there a lot because it is an excellent value for the location and size of our suite. Very suitable for our longer stays in miami. Bed was very comfortable, rooms were very clean.

The furniture and bathroom were a bit tired, and the dining room chairs had stains on them. A few cosmetic upgrades would make a better impression on first time guests. If this isn't a problem for you you'll be very happy. Also, there aretall, steep outdoor steps to get to the upper suites. If you are older, or have kids with strollers, I highly recommend reserving a first floor suite.

So close to the beach and personal touch when I asked if I could check in early. They (Vanesa) did all they could to accommodate and I did get to check in early due to early arrival in Miami

The apartment was great. Had everything we needed. When we arrived we were shown around so we knew where everything was. We had access to beach towel and beach chairs and parasols. Our 2 children (6 and 11) loved the pool. It was big enough for them to have a splash about in whilst I read my book on a sun bed. Beds were comfy. 2 minute walk to the beach.

Wish we had known where to park when we got there. The parking was round the back and under the building, and a little tight for a large car.

Situated in a nice location, steps to beach. Room was comfortable, beds comfy and Louis very kind! Parking a plus. Clean and quiet. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We arrived early in the morning before check-in time and received a very warm and inviting welcome. Also, our room was already available which was a very nice surprise.The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed.Also, you can use beach chairs and towels free of charge. - and the beach is just across the street!Perfect option for staying in Miami Beach.

The water temperature in the bathroom wasn't hot enough. There is a safe, but it's not big enough for a laptop.

The location of this hotel was perfect. Beach was right across the street and within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores. Vanessa was very accommodating with us arriving early in which we were VERY thankful for!! Being first time cruisers from Texas, we did not realize how early we would be kicked off of the ship. We were stressed on what to do in the meantime while having our luggage. Luckily by the time we arrived to the hotel, our room was ready and we were able to take a long nap and relax! That was our first time in Miami and will be back to stay here!!

wish the pool had been open. be nice if the refrigerator door was reversed. it’s any easy thing to do and it doesn’t make sense to have to reach over the door to get something out. upgrading the dishwasher would also be good. it was incredibly loud.

Location excellent

Need some bath gel,tea bags,disposable slippers and small amenities like other hotels. Also because we were there for a few days offer some laundry facilities.. we don’t mind paying for itFront desk staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent, one minute across the street to step onto Miami Beach in the beautiful quiet Bal Harbour neighborhood. The facility provided at no extra cost beach chairs and umbrellas and towels. The family-run boutique hotel were so friendly and thoughtful and even left a beautiful bouquet of roses in the room for my friend's birthday. They also allowed us to leave our car in the lot a couple of extra hours so we could enjoy the beach longer, after check out.
