the location is amazing, right across the beach

the concierge was very rude while checking in at the hotel and when the hotel had no internet.He was claiming there is something wrong with my phones and i should walk 3 blocks away from the hotel to look for a cybercafe at 10PM! ridiculously rude man

It's an excellent location.

I had a negative interaction with one staff member whose behavior I found unprofessional. I addressed my concerns with him directly where he then accused me of being aggressive. While my tone was firm and direct, it was never aggressive in nature.

Close to the beach, free beach chair and towel. No resort fee, and right in the middle of the action.

Front desk staff could be nicer.

Art deco, old time charm and character.

One electric plug for charging (located in bathroom). Shower weak. Fixtures dated. Breakfast lacking, crowded, limited seating.

Two blocks from beach do you get all the advantages of the south beach scene with lots less noise. Very clean and funky. Great service. Decent room size. Hot water and TV worked.

It met expectations - rooms small but that was fine - no pool or food - no big deal.

Very nice localization, sweet staff. We¿ve appreciated that there are beach towels and chairs given on the reception.

The conditioning was too cold at the reception.

Location, decor, great host, no complaints what so ever. I'll be back for sure

I would rate this Shepley Hotel 10/10 with what we pay if there is a small fridge in the room for night cold water,and a hair dryer for after showering. Staff members r wonderfull. come back here again with friends. Thanks Shepley!

Rooms were clean, air conditioning pumped cold and staff was great. Would stay again.

Being an old building there was noticeable street noise and the a/c unit was a little loud.

The location was perfect! Everything was within such a short walk (restaurants, beach, shops, etc.), no need to Uber/rent a car. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about things to do/places to eat. Great experience!

The air conditioner made a lot of noise

I loved the location. The hotel was close to the beach as well as several restaurants and amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All of my requests were met. The hotel was quiet and everything was functional in the room.

I only thing that I did not like that the only mirror in the room was located in the bathroom.

As soon as I walked through the door the smell of clean and the ambience was great. I love the vintage look also. It wanever crowded and the staff was great. Hotel employee and door guy was great, I honestly felt like I was home away from home.

I honestly didn't like that the bathroom sink was way too small and not enough storage space for your hygiene equipments. Otherwise the room were cleans and I felt great about my choice of stay.

Everyone at the Shepley was super accommodating and friendly...They provided a crib for our one year old and both our kids slept well. Housekeeping was super nice and went above and beyond for us!!

The location, while near Lincoln road, Ocean and Espanolia Way, was not super family friendly. Also, we were a little misled thinking this hotel was on the beach - it's actually a street away on Collins Ave. Older hotel, small room.

Location and the interior had lots of character

Rooms were small
