Dolce by Wyndham Miami Beach

The staff were friendly and helpful, they set up a porta crib for my son and even fixed it comfortably with sheets and a blanket for him. The location was convenient to shopping and the beach

The room was clean but there was a distinct smell of mold that must have been coming through the vents. The fridge did not work well at all.

location is a block walk from the beach close to Lincoln Rd, which was exactly where the action is. Hotel is modern zen.

Staff in house restaurant were loud both talking and handling dishes and that kept us awake late in the night.

The quality of the hotel did not match the expected 4 star rating. This hotel looked like a motel in structure and I'm unclear why it charged a $18.00 "resort" fee. Nothing about the hotel was indicative of a 4 star resort.

large room

everything from minute we checked in. Inefficient staff. NOISE from open courtyard which at dinner time to midnight is impossible because it is taken over by restaurant and they place tables right under your door. Single staff person throws attitude.

Location

The hotel is full of cockroaches and dirt. The bed and pillows are not comfortable. Terrible breakfast. The reception is never polite. Entrance of the hotel for kids' strollers is narrow and uncomfortable at all. I would not advise this hotel to anyone!!

Ola, the restaurant. Delicious, but expensive.

You get what you pay for". The walls were dirty, the couch had bleach stains, lightbulb was burned out above the bed, and non functioning 19-inch TV in bedroom. This is not a 4 star hotel, unless the standards in Miami Beach are different than elsewhere.

location and urban feel.

The hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel but is a little run down. I would downgrade it to 3 stars. Also the "free" breakfast was terrible.

The location was perfect and the staff were polite and helpful.

It was old and everything was broken and being worked on. The shower had no door, the water went everywhere. The marble counter was broken. The pool and gym were in another location. The ice machine was located in a public accessible alley. What a mess.

We asked if we could have a room with two beds which online said was available and they said that was not an option. The fold out couch was dirty with no sheets to for us to use for that. The floor was disgusting and made our socks black. Horrible hotel!

The size of the room, living room and kitchen. The rooms where renovated not too long ago in Euro style design. Who ever designed them did a good job. The towels are excellent. The employees where pleasant. The hotel was quiet and a pleasant environment.

The hotel has done a poor job on maintaining the rooms. The toilet seat was loose,I had to personally tighten it, the toilet rocked. The handles on 3 doors broken,etc. The cleaners don't know how to clean,the floors where dirty and sticky. A real shame.

Employees, very helpful and hard working. Except for Frank the front desk manager. Very negative and rude.

Walking distance to the beach, clubs, restaurants, etc.

Proximity to beach is the only thing I liked. This hotel is dirty, floors are sticky, walls have molds, toilets floors are sticky and not cleaned, couches are stains and I avoided sitting on it. To me this is a 2.5 to a 3 star hotel.

the room are dirty, nothing what shows on the pictures is about the hotel, really?? Payed more than -----for 2 nights, I deserve at least have a clean room. People are not nice.

Paid parking $35 per night (but will give discounts for multiple nights).

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The hotel is very trendy and modern looking. There was free WiFi and breakfast. Meter parking was relatively easy to find (by Miami Beach standards) and you can by credit card.

There are some places that need minimal maintenance like rust and there was a missing mosaic tile in the bathroom. Nothing very serious... yet.

Luckily I phoned to check bed sizes as this hotel was overbooked- rather than offering a full refund, the service provider I contacted attempted to switch me to another place for more money and extensive paperwork.
