Pestana South Beach Hotel

Beautiful hotel and an amazing location for seeing Miami Beach. It is off the main streets so the hotel is quiet and comfortable. Kind and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Very nice pool and garden lounge. Great breakfast.

We stayed here for 3 days and it was a wonderful vacation. I’m especially grateful that we were able to check in early after our long flight - it gave us time to rest and enjoy right away.The rooms are clean, with a beautiful view from the window. It’s quiet and peaceful, the pool is excellent, and housekeeping came every day. The location is perfect: just 2 minutes to the beach, where you get your own chair and umbrella to relax. Even though it’s on the second line from the beach, the area is calm and quiet, and restaurants are just around the corner. You can even walk to Ocean Drive.The staff deserves special thanks - everyone was very friendly and helpful. I want to personally thank Tomas, Marcos, and Ruan, who were always kind and assisted us with everything we needed.Yes, the hotel is not brand new, but it definitely matches its price, and the quality is great. For the same money, you can easily find worse options. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly, attentive staff

Air conditioning unit was a bit loud (old system) Bed, comfy but creaky!

Clean rooms

1. Elevator doesn't work2. Phone doesn't work to call reception 3. AC stops abruptly, staff and management knows it and kept it in the room problems card. Who want to do a reset of AC in the middle of the night and wait for hours to get the temperatures back to normal to sleep.4. Ants in the rooms shows up with small food scraps

This hotel is in a prime location. 2 blocks from the beach and 1 block from the shops and restaurants. You can enjoy the whole South Beach experience yet return to a fabulous hotel that is quiet allowing a wonderful nights sleep. The rooms are spacious and the bed is so comfortable. The staff are exceptional. Nothing is a problem for them. The staff on reception are always helpful, and with a welcoming smile. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast work really hard.I watched them respond to many guests, some who were less than pleasant yet staff just approached everyone with respect and sorted out every small issue.

I cannot think of one thing we don’t like

It’s was on a great location.Friendly staff.Good amenities and very nice and comfortable room. Good space and clean, comfortable bed.Great beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas.

First day the room beside us had 2 kids and they were extremely noisy, the staff didn’t do anything.

The air conditioning is bad, very cold,the bathroom smells horrible

The room was clean as were the premises. The location was great. We could walk to the beach.

We could hear every footstep of the person in the room above us—at 1:30-2:30 he kept us up just walking around. And then at 6 am again. It was awful. Plus the bathroom has no place to put personal items. The outlets didn’t work. And the staff was very nice but did not speak English clearly.
