    Cons -

    • I was told that the hotel is refurbished each year but I doubt this is true for the room I was staying in: dirty walls, traces of glue/adhesive strips on the walls, offputting shower with missing knob. The room was a one-star experience.
    • Room was not the best condition for price. Insufficient supply of toilet paper. Windows were dirty. The point of this room is the view of the pyramids and the windows need to be cleaned up more. Breakfast was very poor.
    • The location is good but to go inside the hotel you have to walk among horses, camels and others animals, that was really risky.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The room was incredible, but the real highlight was the stunning view of the Pyramids and the Sphinx right from our window. It felt like a dream waking up to such a majestic sight every morning. We were also pleasantly surprised by how much care the staff put into the details; the room was clean and beautifully decorated with balloons for our arrival, which was such a thoughtful and lovely touch. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Honestly, for the price you pay, these rooms are an absolute steal. The value for money is unbeatable considering the world-class location and service.Everything was perfect! If you are planning a trip here, do not hesitate to book this place. Highly recommended!

    Nice view to the pyramids

    The street horses, camels

The reception was well decorated and our hosts were fantastic. Close to the pyramid’s entrance, like 5 minute walk. The view from the terrace was great and they sell delicious drinks, limonade with mint was my favourite. The surrounded area is busy and lively, many things going on, however we always felt safe. Also, they were really kind preparing the breakfast in boxes when we had to leave earlier. Thanks

The property was clean, the rooms were nice, and the views were amazing. Mohamed was our waiter the entire stay and he was very attentive and helpful, he made our trip even better.. I recommend staying here

The view is amazing. I didn’t want to close the curtains because of how stunning the view of pyramids is.

When we checked in, the staff told us there would be 3% charge if we pay by credit card. The staff didn’t accept the US bill we had (he said it had brown spots on it so they can’t take it) and finally when he decided it’s okay, but he didn’t have enough change. In the end, we paid in Euros. In hindsight, it would have been a lot easier to just pay with credit card.

It was clean but furniture was little old.

The staff were very kind and accommodative and helpful. The views from the hotel of the pyramid is amazing. The hotel is value for money and meets expectation of the pyramids view.

    Nice stuffNice view No more

When entering the hotel, you have to walk through a path covered in feces and swarming with flies. The shower has very low water pressure, the Wi-Fi is extremely weak, and the air conditioning is barely functional. Despite complaining to the staff multiple times and being assured that they would "check and fix" the issues, nothing has been done. Additionally, when making purchases at the hotel, they often can’t provide change, forcing you to adjust your payment to the exact amount. For the price they charge, there are several better options in the area. Overall, the facilities are not worth the cost.

View from the room. Got upgraded to bigger room because the previous room shower pipe was broken and air cond is not working.

The entrance of the hotel: dirty and smelly every time when you cross it.

I had a fantastic stay at the Marvel Stone Hotel in Cairo-Giza. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly—always available and eager to help in any situation. Their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, with the Pyramids right in sight—it’s an experience I’ll never forget. Waking up to that view each morning was one of the highlights of my trip.I also appreciated the well-organized tours arranged through the hotel. The tour guide was not only knowledgeable but also very kind, adding great value to the overall experience.I highly recommend Marvel Stone Hotel to anyone visiting Cairo-Giza. Whether you're here for the rich history, vibrant culture, or just a memorable stay, this hotel delivers on all fronts.

Liked the restaurant and food, and both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were helpful. View was excellent.Did not like so many camels and horses blocking the exit to the street.

    6IuliiaPosted on: 4-4-2025

It's nice and clean for Cairo. But it's terrible if you expect European comfort and service. The air conditioning is leaking, the sink is stuck, the restaurant is good, but the quality of food is not permanent. One day I get perfect green salad next day it was so spicy ? hot , that even my husband couldn't eat it.

Location was the best! Although about an hour away from Cairo International Airport, the hotel’s restaurant and rooftop offered unparalleled and uninterrupted view of the great pyramids and Sphinx. Staff were all customer-friendly, fluent in English. Food at the restaurant tasted good with huge serving, and affordable prices (50 egyptian pounds for mango juice, less than 200 egyptian pounds for a main dish like beef burger or mixed grill, or chicken fajitas).

    Weak wifi at the room.
