    • Overall, it was a good experience. The Grand Pyramids View Hotel, now known as Kafuu Villa, had very nice and helpful staff. However, getting a taxi was a bit difficult because the hotel is located very close to the pyramids, at the end of a road with limited access. For transportation, I recommend using the iDrive app in Egypt — it’s cheap, safer, and more convenient than trying to hail a taxi on the street. There’s also a local shop nearby, which is great for buying essentials at local prices. If you’re on a budget, you might also find cheaper hotel options in the surrounding area.
    • The place is very good, clean and quiet

Everyone working there was really nice and attentive. For breakfast choices I tried two of them and my favorite was the egyptian breakfast. They have different tour options but you have to ask.

Wifi was only working in the lobby. Also, it was a bit confusing when getting here because it is also Villa Khufu. Not sure if they changed the name or if they had two properties. Also keep in mind that you have a great location but it is off road-ish. Ubers and walking on your own can be an experience.

Mixed feelings. We had to keep asking and fighting for what we were supposed to get.

It was next to impossible to find the hotel because the name of the hotel we reserved via Booking was not the actual name of the hotel! It took a very persistent taxi driver and the help of many, many locals, to EVENTUALLY find the place. There were no rooms available when we arrived (despite us emailing them beforehand asking to re-reconfirm our room). We were relocated to the hotel across the street for the first night as a result. Still, when we went back to the original hotel, they said the type of room we had reserved for didn’t and gave us a very small one. It took a lot of insistence from our part to get a larger room. We did get a large room, but it was very noisy (next to reception). In all fairness, the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also of note, the staff was very kind at all times and the top floor terrace was OK. We booked one of the tours offered by the hotel, which turned into a disaster: the original tour guide faked a sickness (so obvious) and sent someone else in his place. The new “guide” turned out to be someone in training (or so they said) who spoke very little English, so we ended up guiding ourselves. The person barely knew the history of the places we went to and would basically search Google for information. :(

I've got the larger room that i expected. And i can easily check in very late, at about 2am. Also the staff is so kind. There are many waters in the room, and the breakfast was cool, even if it takes some time..

It is hard to find the location, either for me and the taxi driver. And it has two names, so confusing.I cannot use the hot water in the morning, maybe it was same on that area. A few minutes later, i had trouble to use cold water too. I think that was not the problem of the hotel. An

These brothers are so kind and making sure all is well. Food is excellent, love the breakfast view...this is the closest you can sleep to the great pyramid!!!!

The view, service, food and a lot of people from all over the world.

I liked the view of the Pyramids and the bed was comfortable. The staff are lovely, kind and helpful especially Mohammad and the boys who work on rooftop.

One member of staff was quite rude and seemed to have an issue with lone women travellers. He made md feel uncomfortable and close to tears twice. One time banging on my door telling me to leave the room and today informing me very late that I could not book again. I've been booking night by night as I had an issue with my visa I was trying to fix before I fly home. Other hotel staff told me there was a room so this member of staff lied. I left as I felt so upset and uncomfortable. ?

The hotel was so much better than I imagined from what I seen online, the staff are such a lovely family who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. if I could rate the hotel 12/10 I would. It has to be the closest hotel to the pyramids in Giza, without a doubt the energy of the place is so magical and the view of the great pyramid is amazing. The breakfast on a morning was lovely I choose the Egyptian one every time. When leaving I was offered a massage which was a lovely touch for anyone before flying home but I was in a bit of rush for the airport so unfortunately had to say no, but next time for sure as I will defiantly visit this magical place and hotel again.

There was nothing to not like my whole experience was amazing and even a free taxi ride to the airport :)

    It was clean

Wifi was worst. Very far from the main road. Room was not heating atall. No safety locker in the room. Very noisy of dogs barking very early in the morning couldn’t have proper sleep or rest.

Amazing location....you can walk to the pyramids and not use a guide. Rooftop great. Staff helpful. Comfortable beds and rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The price was incredible!

There was a confusion at start and they tried to give us a smaller room or pay extra but I showed them my reservation where it states how many beds and that was rectified. More expensive to book tours ect through hotel but that's normal.

The hotel is beautiful .. good view with roof and gardenClean roomsGood friendly staff

The location is extremly bad location and very hard ro reach hotel by car .. uber always refuse to reach the hotel You need to walk for about 15 minutes to access the road in order to be able to use uber .. and your walk till the road is very difficult and very bad location

We liked the location of the property with the rooftop view of the pyramids. Its location was close enough to go to the pyramids without a guide. The breakfasts were hearty with a good variety for all tastes. The concierge was helpful with regards to tours, airport transfers, taxis etc and even came to look for us after getting lost coming home in a tuk tuk

The double room that was not a deluxe room had a very awkward shower space, and we had no hot water after the first night. No one came to assist us after telling them there was a problem. The plug points were lacking and in very awkward positions.

Staff were helpful and welcoming. Great rooms and had no issue with any facilities.Amazing view of pyramids.

The area is very run down and clearly development is ongoing with the pyramid site that is impacting the area.Locals nice and kind but it did not always feel safe/comfortable and the roaming dogs could be an issue on a walk to the main road.

    The view of the pyramids

It’s location is in an area of demolition. Looking at the pyramid but the security fence is between the hotel and the pyramid. The dining facility is on the roof - it’s quite exposed and cold in the wind. No alternative if weather poor. The menu is limited for vegetarians. There is a coffee machine fit good coffee but it’s $5 us a cup .

The staff is just amazing!! They will go above and beyond to offer you a good stay. They are so kind and so helpful and so nice, they are the reason I will come back to this hotel. It was one of the best hotels I stayed in my life BECAUSE of the staff. Amazing, truly amazing. The rooms are clean, big, the lounge areas are plenty and nicely decorated. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, you can almost touch the biggest pyramid in Egypt. And the breakfast was the best I had in this country. It was a memorable experience for me, and I know I will come back many times to this hotel and it's kind and amazing people. You will miss them like a family after you stay here.I cannot recommend it enough. Book it, and you will know what I am talking about. I am writing this review and already feel like coming back :)

Great guest house, very clean, very nice front desk staff even if they didn't speak much english, and a lovely rooftop terrace with restaurant and shisha lounge. Sadly I only spent a few hours there but the energy of the grand pyramid is very strong so focused on connecting and looking at it in the little time I had there. thank you!
