About

The original first-line inn facing the Great Sphinx and Pyramids from Rooftop Terrace, Located right in front of the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau and The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is about 1.8 miles away. Because many hotels use fake or very similar names, it’s important to verify the real view before booking. To be sure you’re choosing a true front-row hotel, look for a clear view of the Sphinx from the Rooftop, The Sphinx is the detail that confirms you are directly facing the Giza Plateau. If you only see the pyramids, the hotel is nowhere near the front area—it can be several miles away, far from the actual viewing zone. Always check photos carefully and contact the property before finalizing your reservation. Pyramids Views from Your Room & Sphinx Views from Our Rooftop. Our hotel offers beautiful views of the Great Pyramids of Giza from our guest rooms, while our rooftop provides a spectacular panoramic view of both the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Due to a new government building constructed in front of the hotel, the Sphinx is no longer visible from some of our guest rooms. However, guests can still enjoy a clear and memorable view of the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids from our rooftop, one of the highlights of staying with us. There is only one Pyramids View Inn Bed & Breakfast. This Bed and Breakfast has a rooftop terrace with a barbecue. There is a shared kitchen and free herbal teas and coffee are available. A free, arrival pick-up airport shuttle is also provided. Pyramids View offers air-conditioned rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi. All Rooms and Suites come with a satellite TV and Streaming with Amazon Fire Stick, and Keyless electric door lock, all Rooms and Suites with private bathroom. The apartments and Suites have a spacious living room. Horse and camel riding trips can be arranged. After a busy day, guests can view the Pyramids Sound and Light Show from the rooftop. A mini-market, bakery, and pharmacy are within 5 minutes' walk from Pyramids View Inn Bed & Breakfast. Cairo International Airport is 25 minutes away by car. A complimentary airport pickup is available upon request.

    Pros +

    • The staff is excellent. The view is perhaps the best in all Giza. The entrance to the hotel may be intimidating when you arrive as it is in the middle of a busy section of the "real" Egypt. Once you arrive in your room, you will love this hotel.
    • The view was INSANE! The view from my room (101) and from the balcony was worth every single cent. You see the Pyramids full on. The view at night takes your breath away. I also took the tour the hotel offered and loved it.

Excellent view of the pyramids. Breakfast in general was nice, but same everyday. Room is inexpensive, decent and clean

Location and pyramid view on roof top

    - amazing staff, really helpful and friendly- best view you can get - good breakfast - clean room- confortable beds- hot shower- complementary tea and water 24hSo happy to have booked this hotel. There are many fake accommodations in Cairo, and you can easily get scammed. This is a very good and affordable choice.

Most of the time there is no wifi

Location was amazing for seeing the pyramids and sphinx. Literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The rooftop eating area and breakfast were great, but the best feature of the hotel was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful.

The rooms could use some updating, and the shower was very small.

    Nothing really.

We had a wonderfull stay at Pyramids View Inn. Before our arrival, the communication was great, they arranged a pick up van from the airport for our arrival day for a fair price. Staff was so kind and helpful, always with a smile. We booked the Junior suite which was a lovely room, very spacious and with a balcony with fantastic view on Sphinx and the Pyramids. Waking up in the morning and seeing that view from our room is priceless. The room was nice, big, clean with lots of water provided for free by the owners. We added an extra bed to the room with a supplement 20$ per night.Yes there are some works at the moment happening in front of the accomodation, works by the government but it did not bother us much and did not disturb our sleep. The breakfast was simple buy great, from their rooftop terrace. The chef is always there to welcome you with the most kind smile and prepares the most delicious falafels! We enjoyed sunsets as well from the terrace drinking coffee and tea offered by the hotel at all time.To summarise, you should not hesitate to book Pyramids View Inn for you stay, you will be welcomed like a family and taken good care of throughout your stay there.

    Nothing, all was great

The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me booking trusted tours and taxis. The in-house dining options were convenient too. I could order the food whenever and eat on the rooftop while enjoying the pyramids view.

The breakfast food selections weren't that great. While the view was great from the hotel, but the surroundings can be noisy at times. On my first night, there was a Sound and Light show at the Giza Pyramids. The loud sound lasted a while into the night. Can be annoying if you want to rest.

Staff were extremely hospitable during our entire stay. Employees Mustafa and Kamal were very knowledgeable about sites to visit and how to get around to all tourist sites. Had a great experience, highly recommend to anyone visiting Giza.

Location was fabulous, just opposite Sphinx. Front desk and Monica chatting up guests at breakfast were great. Messages were answered promptly.

Hotel arranged a "private tour guide with car service" for Great Egyptian Museum. Found out morning of that ticket was not provided and guide left me at entrance to go inside on my own because "it's crowded today." My experience was ruined. Emailed hotel owner and he never responded,

Close to the Sphinx entrace, restaurants, currency exchange office, stores. Great view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace. Clean and comfortable rooms. A great team of staff helping with my mother's wheelchair, giving us complimentary bottled water (whenever we asked and even offered when we didn't ask ?). I highly recommend Pyramids View Inn for your stay in Cairo!
