    Pros +

    • The pool was beautiful . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful grouping of hotels together that felt very safe. Close to the pyramids and museum.
    • Location. Manu was an excellent host. Loved the breakfast too. Walking distance from Marriott Mena House which is great for dinner and lunch options
    • I really liked the cleanliness and the staff kindness. As soon as i arrived i was briefed about the location and I was shown all the facilities. When i was to leave, i had a problem with the uber driver and the staff from the hotel quickly jumped into helping me and he even took the number of the driver. He totally did not have to do this, but this is what “exceeding expectations” is.

    Cons -

    • Had a smell of moth balls in the bathroom
    • The room i was given was dark during the day.
    • We believe the bathroom - specially the shower would deserve some improvement as the water is dropping out all over the floor when having a shower.

We had very nice time in this hotel. It is located in a very quite complex and the Pyramids views from the roof terrace are amazing. We enjoyed very good quality breakfast in the rod terrace but also pretty nice and tasty dinner . The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Our room was clean and had nice large balcony. Thank you for such a nice stay.

Luxurious very safe, very quiet, kind staff! Their excursions are worth booking, the guide we had was fabulous and took great photos of us. Manu was so amazing, he walked us next door to Mena House and came back to walk us home. Everything was clean and I did not get sick from the food in the connected rooftop restaurant. I wish I could live here!!! ❤️?? Thank you Manu for making Giza a beautiful memory for me!!

The location is right across from the pyramids and the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view and excellent service and the food is good. The hotel staff, led by Manu, is extremely kind and helpful. I decided to go ahead and use them for the $25 hotel transfer when I got into Egypt, not knowing if my eSIM card would work. My driver was waiting in ground transportation for me with a sign, and whisked me straight to my front door of Onyx and brought my luggage into reception where I was greeted by Manu and the staff. He showed me the pool and restaurant and made sure I had everything I needed. The area didn't seem very walkable and not much around----but that's only because I went the wrong way! Once I moved into Cairo, the cab-ride made me realize that I should have just went left and I would have been able to have many outlets for enjoyment. I would definitely stay here again---especially if you're just doing the pyramids in Giza.

Breakfast at the restaurant was a bit inconsistent, though the service was top notch. I still at here four times and enjoyed the view and hospitality. The area nearby is could be a bit cleaner---but that has nothing to do with Onyx....they're spotless!

Jamal and his team are friendly. He loves talking to people and give you hitns in how to go about your day in Cairo. I enjoyed having conversation with all team members. Rooms, and mattress, clean, and comfortable,, Rooftop is beautiful, food is awosome, great stuff is amazing, oversees the pyramids, I highly recommend it if you want stay close to Pyramids. To get to the pyramids, you take an uber, it's around 2km away the gates close to the hotels are closed and not allowed for tourists. Shokram Jamal

I wish there is a sign for the hotel

It was close to pyramids and the museum. Also I had a meeting in Marriott hotel where I had my business meeting. Also the breakfast was nice we used to pick the country and Egyptian breakfast.

Great value, staff is amazing--so helpful. The location is as indicated, you are right in front of the pyramids. Clean, a good stay.

The pool is not part of the hotel's, it's a common pool shared with all buildings of the villa. Cleaniness unknown. The terrace is not part of the hotel's itself--you have to go to the building next door (which is another hotel?) and use that rooftop. Whilst you do have full access, it is not directly in the building so very inconvenient. The rooftop is a restaurant, not a lounge area.

The hotel is brand new and it is super close to the pyramids, in about 10 min walk you will be right at the pyramids. It has all the facilities you need, new bathroom, hot water, A/C and the place is super clean!!!They have a very nice restaurant in the terrace with a great view of the pyramids, the food is absolutely delicious and it looks gorgeous at night time! There is a petrol station very close by where you can get water and toiletries if you need to.The place can also help with organising tours for you, Manu is amazing and can help you with anything you need, honestly, he is the best! I stayed there with my mother and we felt very safe and Manu made sure we had everything we needed.

    Nothing, everything was perfect !!
