Lotus Hotel

Location. Staff. Some parts of the hotel. Rooms were small but clean. Materials used for renovations were good quality. Staff.

The outside of the hotel in the main building. Elevator , stairs, walls (typical for downtown). Of course, it is not the fault of the hotel but you get to see it.

Location was great and the staff very nice. I was there for only one night before my flight home

It’s downtown so very noisy, bring your earplugs I was leaving early in the morning and they offered to bring me breakfast before but it never arrived

I loved the old world charm and the brilliant location- 4 min walk from the museum

A kettle in the room for tea and coffee would have been great

The location was gray to move around the city. Breakfast was very simple but good, but is always the same

The shower door didn’t close so every time we showered it was a big water mess.

Room was so clean, there is medium size refrigerator.Staffs speaks English well. And we’ll behaved.In the heart of city. Good for shopping.

Breakfast was not that much satisfying.Light on AC unit is too high that makes room like sleeping under moon light. No sleeper. Bring your own.It distributed while sleeping.

Good location, very comfortable bed and pillow, new furnitures and aircond, good bathroom compare to another hotels in Egypt. Thank you.?

A little bit noisy but in Old Town is everything noisy.

The staff and the location in the heart of the city. They are renovating everything in this old house. I stayed in one part of the hotel at the 6th floor. Wifi was good. Water pressure too. A/C works well. Refrigerator available and a satellite TV. New furniture. Room space for one is ok. There's a balcony too.

Quantity and variety of amenities wasn't enough. No house keeping.

Well located, close to Tahrir square and Egyptian Museum and near to metro staion.All the staff are very friendly and helpfullIts a nice and old hotel should inverst in remodeling TV and AC work fine...breakfast ok.

The cleaness in the bathroom...should be better...the floor and the shower were dirty..The wifi is poor.

Ancient colonial type interior with wooden furniture.Big room.. Location of building is good.

Internet availability is less as wifi dont work properly.Bathroom is conjusted. Building is old so lift too.Locating building was a big task for me as ther was no hoardings to show the name of hotel outside the building

The furniture is fantastic, nice and old/ well kept! The facilities are as they present on the booking and are representative of the price/ value for money.

Busy streets at night. The bed/ mattress sunk in the middle causing for some disrupted night sleeps.

Unfortunately not clean as it is a historic place supposed to be more clean then this ,

the location was perfect. the staff were very kind and hospitable and nice and always helpful.

the bathrooms were not clean at all. didn’t have slippers. the flush doesn’t work. so the toilets stink. the shower area was so dirty. and no proper lock for the bathroom. so bad.

I stayed twice . They keep my luggage few days. Old and best maintenance hotel . Close to Tahir square, Sadat subway station, Go bus station, museum, just in few meters Nile bridge. Variety of foods restaurants, shopping. All in few meters . Like a say it’s One stop hotel . Al Azhar university, El Hussain tomb just in 2km . Their few hundred of hotel in this downtown area this cost but I’m sure it’s best big rooms here . I stayed two more other hotels in this area everything’s worst. LOTUS HOTEL is the best . Pizza Hut , KFC , McD all just walk 3min only . Don’t waste time , don’t waste money . Stay here . ??❤️

Lift wasn't working most of the time so had to walk to other floors to take another lift. Other floors are very dirty and entrance is very dirty. Need to update the furniture

Location is perfect and staff very friendly and helpful. Relatively spacious room with bathroom and bath. The shower was very good and hot. Large bed and storage.

The hotel itself has seen better days and the bed is not particular luxurious, and a bit dusty.

Everything dirty and dusty. I don't think if they clean or wash the bedding items and blankets once used by customers.
