Nestled in the palms of Hurghada, ZIA Regina Resort and Aqua Park Hurghada features 3 swimming pools and a diving center. It is located by its own private sandy beach and is 5.8 mi away from Hurghada International Airport. Offering views of the sea or the resort’s garden, all accommodations at ZYA Regina Resort and Aqua Park Hurghada feature a modern décor and air conditioning. Each room and bungalow has a TV, a mini-bar and a private bathroom. Dining options include El-Zahra Restaurant which serves international cuisine, and IL Foro which offers a variety of Italian specialties. Shark Stop, Beach Bar and Pool bar feature light snacks and refreshing beverages. At an added charge, the resort provides water sports facilities for snorkelleres, scuba divers and windsurfers. You can also enjoy a massage, a sauna or a Turkish steam bath at the spa for a fee.

We hereby inform you that the main pool at ZYA Regina Resort will remain closed for approximately 14 days starting today the 12th of Jan 2025 The pool liners need to be replaced. Alternatively, the Aqua Park swimming pool is available. We can assure you that there will be no noise disturbance for our guests

We booked a bungalow room as wanted peace and quiet. When we arrived we were offered an upgrade to a room in a block that was undergoing work. But it was closer to the beach. Didn't want to climb up stairs so told them to put us in a bungalow that we booked. All this was sorted and we were very happy there. Bungalows could do with updating though. The grounds were kept immaculate and the pool area was great. We were able to get sunbeds on both the beach and the pool. Food choice was adequate. The snack bar serving lunch gets very busy so best get a table early. You can swim up to the pool bar and sit and have a drink on the stools. Cleaning staff were very friendly as well as the restaurant staff. Nothing at all to complain about. It was Ramadan when we visited so it must have been hard for them but no problems with getting served at 6pm for a drink in the bar when they are supposed to eat as it's their time. Beer was either draught Sakara or bottled Stella in cups or glasses. Abundance of soft drinks. You can serve yourself at meal times in the restaurant soft drinks. They have a machine that you can have coffees in the bar area also. It was in a good location for us to be able to walk out as we know the area very well. Will be looking to book again in October for 6 or 7 nights.
The Sea water wasn't clean. I saw the biological waste , possibly from yachts a few times
We read the reviews before we go and did not expect a lot. But we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are fine and clean, we got a free upgrade to sea view. The rooms are cleaned every day, beds are made and 2 bottles of water. As for the shower being cold, that was only between 17:00 and 19:00 as everybody is coming back from the beach and getting ready for diner. So outside this window you are fine! Garden is really beautiful and wel maintained. The staff is really nice. We came back from a Luxor tour all tired and they sent us a basket of fruits to the room without us asking! 10/10 service. As for the comments on the food and beer, it is all fine, dont expect top chef cooking but we ate there most of the days and we did not get sick, there is enough variety. The hotel is right on the Main Street and perfect for pickups if you have any activities planned! Best price value in Hurghada. Special thanks to Malaky and Sam for the entertainment!
