Cons -
- Our room was very spacious, but didn’t have bed lamps, only a bright overhead. We were on the first floor with a pretty street view, but it was quite noisy.

The location is excellent! Such a cozy and beautiful place to sleep and stay.
One recommendation would be to provide a nightlight and a small handrail on the walls reminding guests that there is a step down. I did slightly trip, but caught myself. Left the up light on allnight, though a bit bright.
Beautiful location in the heart of Izamal. The hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming and professional. There is a small restaurant that has breakfast available for purchase. My son enjoyed the pancakes. They don’t have a laundry room but the staff quickly provided a phone number to a local laundry service that will pick up and drop off your clothes for a small fee at the front desk of the hotel.
Nothing, it was a pleasant experience and it was as described online.
Beautiful hotel just across from the Basilica. We have very good breakfast and a lovely outdoor dining room right next to one of the ancient Mayan sites. Very nice staff.
We stayed in the former convent, San Antonio Di Padua which is much nicer than the main hotel next-door. Beautiful place, beautiful garden, very nice pool. Clean. And well located.
The street is very noisy, also at night.
Great location - spacious rooms - wonderful pool area - nice breakfast
A iittle tired, but still good value for the price
Beautifully properly, gorgeous pool, lovely setting across from the convent. Very classy without being posh.
Very clean, amazing location close to the city centre, fairly quiet, staff allowed us to check in 3 hours early which we really appreciated! Amazing shower, plenty of soap/fresh towels. The pool is great and bath towels are right there on the lounge chairs waiting for you. Absolutely beautiful common areas! Strong WiFi signal, good AC.
Our bed was way too firm, you can feel the springs of the mattress if you are above 85kg. Staff doesn't speak English as is the case for most of the accommodations in Mexico. Lighting could be better (only big ceiling lights available).
Facilities, large room atmosphere
The room needed some furniture, table cars etc.
gorgeous but my arrival by Taxi from Cancun was scary& the Hotel taxi driver experience was far Worse
Also, the lovely woman who cooked my breakfast had a Big black & blue mark on her eyeSo I felt terrible about whatever, that PENDEJO who did that to a Woman
Izamal is an historic city. It is poy to walk everywhere including the Mayan ruin. It even has horse drawn carriages. The inside of the hotel is modern and seems to have been recently updated.
It is a lovely comfortable hotel in an historic place.
The hotel is a short walk to the town market and both central squares and it is also a short walk to both bus stations. The room was large, clean and well air-conditioned. Staff are good.
I thought I had reserved a room facing the Convent, but looked out on the pool and rear pyramid, instead--in the end not a problem. The bathroom was extremely small and there was no chair or table--only a small dressing table with a low stool, which was not convenient for two people in the room. Water in the shower was either all hot or all cold, depending, apparently, on time of day.
It was a great hotel to be at! The food was good, the staff was friendly, and the location was great as well!
The bed mattress was very uncomfortable, hard so it was hard to have a good sleep. Also, there were no table lamps, so the room was hard to get around when we turned off the main light in the room.
Nice setup. Nice clean pool. Nice breakfast area. Pleasant area. Fairly quiet.
The “invisible step” in the bathroom!!! Very dangerous! The evening shift guy that wanted to send me to Oxxo for drinking water!!! When I showed him my colors, he let go of his phone, got off his lazy butt and gave me water from the 5 gallon jug! How miserable!
Very nice hotel with a nice garden and swimming pool.Staff very friendlyVery good breakfast
This is a great hotel & fantastic value for money. The bed and bedding were so comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure, the wifi was reasonable & the fan was quiet (we didn’t need aircon). Daily housekeeping, drinking water & glasses provided. Large clean room. Swimming pool area is lovely. Pool towels & comfortable lounges with cushions. Great central location. Perfect for us as 2 mins from the bus station.
There was nothing I didn’t like. Ask for a room away from the road. Would suggest getting a water cooler for reception to save on plastic bottles.
Good location in the center.
Very old worn out room and bathroom. Breakfast is only fruit and bread..
The included free breakfast by booking.com was only for the 1st night and was only continental (fruit, toast and 1 cup of coffee). This was not specified by booking.com. We did argue about it at front office and they agreed to include the breakfast for the 2nd night but staff was not very friendly after the request.
