Pros +
- The atmosphere was amazing! The staff kind and welcoming. The food incredible as well as the bar service. Walking distance to center. Would definitely recommend!
- The decor and staff is what makes this place special. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Overall ambiance is lovely. We had booked the Superior King Suite with balcony overlooking the main patio area below. Unfortunately, due to the location of this room (upper floor and directly above the dining/kitchen area) you hear every conversation, klink of silverware, coffee machine, kitchen prep, etc. They graciously moved us to a room a bit further back that was more comfortable.
- We had a very good room, comfortable, clean, with a small private pool on the terrace, room decoration beautiful, a well equipped fridge.
Cons -
- Dogs barking at early hours
- While the hotel itself is beautiful, the constant noise of the dog shelter next door completely ruined our stay. The barking (guessing 15+ dogs) starts and is magnified/amplified by the long design of the hotel - especially on the second floor. We stayed four nights, and the barking occurs about every 15 minutes at various times of the day. At night, it woke us up at 1 a.m, 4 a.m, 6 a.m., even with "white noise" playing on our phone to try and block it out. We mentioned it to the hotel, and they note that they have tried to address the issue with the owner next door with no luck. For breakfast (included in our stay), the juices, coffees and fruit bowls were delicious. The main breakfast options fell a bit flat. Ordered an egg "casserole" which was just two overcooked eggs on the bottom/undercooked eggs on top sitting on a bed of bland beans and few bites of longonista sausage. Chilaquiles the next morning was a mound of tortilla squares with insufficient sauce. All breakfast egg dishes literally had no seasoning. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.
- The outside, neighborhood noise and smell from the open kitchen downstairs, especially in the morning. Other guests have elaborated on the noise, thus won’t repeat here. We tried to manage!

The restaurant food, very friendly staff, very clean
The first room we had was awful. It was the standard queen and was very small, the AC right on top of the bed blowing air on our face at night, and the room had no windows causing no air ventilation - I couldn’t breathe and sleep at night. The bed was a full size, not queen and was super soft and uncomfortable. I asked to change rooms and they put us in a much better room and we had a pleasant stay after that.
Nice hotel in great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Can be a little noisy but otherwise perfect all around.
Noise from main courtyard area.
This is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and beautiful grounds. The bar and restaurant are very nice and the breakfast is excellent.
This biggest problem is the horrible screeching day and night of a kennel adjacent to the property. It’s not barking, it’s sounds like many dogs are fighting an screeching and yelping. It completely take away from the tranquility of the hotel, especially at night.
Le Muuch is a lovely boutique hotel in Valladolid. Located close to the plaza, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. The facilities are beautiful, the pools and gardens meticulously maintained. Would definitely recommend. Our room had its own pool, which was really nice.
Beautiful vibes. Accurate from descriptions and photos. Several spaces to hang out in, all beautifully designed to enjoy hanging at the hotel. Super helpful staff- highly recommend!
The ONLY complaint is that the jacuzzi mentioned is in fact a cold (unheated) pool.. but still beautiful and surely less important during summer temperatures.
The hotel is in a great location for Valladolid. The property and staff are very friendly, awesome breakfast, and the on-site restaurant, and bar are very good to relax and unwind. This is a great place to stay for visiting Valladolid or Chichin Itza. The property is usually adults only, and they made an exception for us around Christmas and we sincerely appreciate that.
The water pressure in the room needs to improve.
We LOVED Le Muuch Hotel!! This is a Yucatan oasis in the heart of a charming city Tradition and culture is everywhere I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Welcoming, friendly and so helpful. From setting up day trips to their delicious breakfast every morning to their staff that kept the Hotel immaculately clean it was a place and experience i will never forget and truly was sad to leave Thank you to all and hopefully we will get the chance to come back again sometime soon
Hotel is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. Walking distance to the main squares, great restaurants and shops.
The staff, location, food, ambience were exceptional!
The constant barking of a pack of yippy dogs on the property next door was so annoying. They woke us up at night and were so loud when we just wanted to sit and relax at the hotel.
The hotel is absolutely lovely. Every single place looks beautiful! The room was very cute and clean, the outside is great with two beautiful swimming pools, there is a lovely restaurant area and a nice terrace with hammocks… we liked everything about this place! Breakfast was very good too. Well located in the cute down of Valladolid, we couldn’t recommend it more!
We liked everything!
Service and breakfast are the top things about this hotel. The environment is super cute and a great reset after bopping around the city. Pool is good for a plunge and short hang, not somewhere to spend a great deal of time.
Bathroom was tiny and the only window opened to public space so had to compromise between natural light and privacy.
The property and rooms are very nice. Breakfast is good variety and the lady that works the breakfast is very nice.
The air conditioner leaked. We reported it and solution was to leave a towel on the floor till next day. Mantaince came and fixed it. The room was not cleaned. On the morning of check out which was 11 am I was taking my luggage to the car to start packing some of it up. Front desk asked if I was leaving. I told them I was bring my stuff down. She said we can help you so the room can start getting cleaned. I really don't appreciate being kicked out before time. At their convience.
Beautiful property, wonderful kind staff, delicious food and everywhere you look are plants, art, old-charm very happy change from a typical chain hotel
Really enjoyed it. Valladolid hotels share walls with residencies and things happen early. Some parts of the hotel can be a bit loud as the day begins
The grounds are beautiful, location is excellent and walkable. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is fantastic with a variety of choices for everyone.
The main reason we booked this hotel was it was advertised as adults only. Unfortunately during our stay that was not enforced. There was a toddler at breakfast, playing without clothes or a pullup in the bar side pool and another child running around noisily at the covered pool. So on our second day pools were not available when we wanted them. This is not something one would complain about at a family hotel but again this was advertised as strictly adults only. All in my party were very disappointed with this as we were expecting a tranquil child free zone.
It was one of the best hotels i stayed in. It's a real boutique hotel. The location is great to visit the city. They offer an external parking 3 min away. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful - a little gem. The room was also amazing. Beautiful and rustic decoration. Bed comfortable. I had my on hammock ... and the breakfast was delicious. A set menu with local dishes and everything very well done and tasty. I highly recommend the staff also very kind
Location was great. Facilities were very nice and well designed decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Very nice small bar.
Pools were small which was ok but there were no lounge chairs except in far back patio, and no cushions there. But space was limited and they made it as useful and beautiful as possible.
Everything about this hotel is great, the staff is courteous, very hospitable. The breakfast is amazing. The location is also very central
