Cons -
- No. Everything was great!
- The beds and pillows were uncomfortable
- The room was dark and horrible. From the minute we stepped off the elevator you could see the wallpaper peeling, a sheet along the bottom of a window that leaked when it rained and smell mold. From a cracked bathroom mirror to the shower head that didn't stay on the wall because the holder was broken to the dirty smelly carpet and worn, dirty furniture it was all horrible. The wifi wasn't functional unless you were in the lobby even though they gave us the list of all routers in the hotel, so it definitely doesn't work for remote working.

Location was only good thing
Bed hard as a rock. Carpet had bugs never vacuumed. Blood on carpet near bathroom. Staff treated me rudely. Don’t recommend
Walking distance to plaza but not much there unlike other plazas in Mexico. Large king size room. Hot water in shower. Quiet. Two overhead fans in room. Staff would call taxi for us but otherwise unhelpful.
Wifi didn’t work, except in lobby and even that was inconsistent. Cell /data often didn’t work either. Staff was no help. Small breakfast area but poor food. Recommend walking up to plaza and eating in one of the nearby restaurants. Small snack selection at desk but offerings that needed to be cooked (popcorn, ramen) had no facility to do so.
I need an inexpensive place with running warm water, beds, ac and a place to recharge devices. This is just that minus the ability to charge devices. There were only two outlets.
Window was wide opened when we walked into our room. I don’t know for how long it was like that but could be the reason why the bed linens weren’t clean. Also you will have to haul up your luggage one flight of stairs because the elevator can’t take you all the way to parking level. If you are fit and only a couple of bags, no problem but if you have some elderly, disabled or babies, it via an inconvenience. Also we were told WiFi info was on a tag behind the remote but it was barely legible and it didn’t match any of the available networks.
Location. Free parking lobby
Smell in room too key was hard to operate, loud bed uncomfortable
Located five minutes walk from the centre but in a quiet location. Wifi good throughout the property. Breakfast is not included but is available in the restaurant at a very reasonable price.
Some hallway carpets could use a little work.
The room was big, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Central location, but not in the middle of the traffic and noise. Great little coffee place downstairs, free parking, wifi.
The room was stuffy (humidity smell), shower head trickle.
Location was good, walking distance to downtown.
The beds, the view, the breakfast.
The front desk staff was helpful. Overall the classic suite room was spacious.
The hotel feels very old. There were a few things broken in the room and bathroom. There was a mirror in the bathroom which is loose and nearly falling off. There is a panel on the side of the tub that is missing.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Zocalo. The room was spacious and silent.
The room opened onto an internal area that deserved better conservation and cleaning.
Poor
The room was nothing like the pictures, our window was to a wall and the facilities seem very old.
Great location, large room, nice jacuzzi
The door to the room is very basic and does not feel like it could sustain much. The carpet is old. The room would clearly benefit from an overhaul.
The location, price and piano
The attitude of the front desk lady
Location was great. Very accessible to great restaurants and parks. The check in was fast and easy. Room had good natural light. Hot water was available. Excellent wifi.
The flooring in the rooms were extremely stained and linens were threadbare.
Very convenient location, close to everything on foot, staff was courteous
the room was a bit humid, there was a faint smell of humidity, it never left even after having the windows open for half a day. There are two sets of stairs from the entrance to the lobby, with no handicap access, luckily we were only staying for a couple days
Lovely centrally located hotel with style and character. We had a quiet clean room, the staff were all polite and helpful. Reasonably priced breakfast in the lobby with sufficient choice of dishes and good service.
They would benefit from a refurbishment, as interiors do look a bit old and worn out, even though they were originally created with a lot of creativity and thought. Changing towels for ones that don't have holes of them would be a good start.
Spacious room. Location. Good beds.
Dirty carpet. Uninterested and unhelpful staff. Very old plumbing. Everything leaks. Heating didn't work. We had a 'suite' without glasses (were not provided) no fridge, no water cooker, no coffee maker. Very Old furniture. This hotel is very tired. Electric sockets fell from the wall. Etc. I guess you get what you pay for. Cold water pressure was too low meaning shower temperature could not be properly arranged. Always too hot. Warm water took extremely long to arrive. Waist
Great location across from a park and only a couple of blocks to downtown. The public spaces were lovely. Check in was good. There was hot water and reasonable water pressure in the shower.
The rooms are in need of renovation. I was moved to a second room because the first one smelled horrible. This review is for the room I stayed in.The locks on the door are old and don't feel secure.Everything is old: the hard lumpy mattress, the 'couch' was stained and uncomfortable, the desk chair was an outdoor chair, the carpet was dingy and smelled, the towels are grey are rough, and the pillows are disgusting. The wallpaper by the sink was held in place by tape and had something on it.
