Food was good, however the options for the included breakfast were very limited (chilaquiles or scramble eggs with ham o sausage).

No hot water during our stay, so we took cold water baths every single day of our stay

The bathtub wasn't working quite well, neither was the water temperature, it wasn't clean enough.

Hard rock beds, thin and cheap fabric linens , cracked bath tub, not suitable for the disabled. Restaurant was not well stocked but the young waitress was very acomodating. The ceviche was warm, the cappuccino weak, on Saturday morning they didn't have orange juice or pancakes! The facilities lack maintenance, like a lot.

The swimming pools were beautiful. They were well maintained and clean. The staff was attentive and kind.

There was a hurricane several years ago. Little had been done to repair beach infrastructure. The hotel had some repairs.We left after two days due to family issues. I wrote and asked if a refund was possible. It’s been five days and no response. Ghosting is not professional.

The hotel seemed to me a bit understaffed. Certain facilities were closed (e.g. pool bar) or lacked maintenance a bit. Beach could be accessed, but it was sort of weird. The hotel does not have its own beach, but neighboring plots on either side of the hotel are empty and provide okish sand beaches. The access from the hotel could be better though.

Some elements missing in the room the 1st day

It's a very quaint hotel in Veracruz. You have to understand that it's not a resort town and there isn't much outside tourism it's mainly going to be locals from 2-3 hours away that come visit the hotel so don't expect any crazy amenities. The hotel is very quiet if you're looking for a weekend getaway. Staff was friendly and I liked that the rooms were big and very private for the most part.

I think the rooms could use more updating and attention I believe the quality of the rooms are diminishing quickly and have to be addressed. The complimentary breakfast could use some refinements as it felt very restrictive of what you can order I would like to see them include more things on the menu.

The staff was very nice. The facility was very clean we had a great time .The only bad thing was that on the second day of out stay we woke up with no hot water. We had rain through the night and water went inside the room.

Apparently the hot water runs out often. Because when I let the front desk know that we didn't have hot water and I had to take a cold shower, they said...oh it happened again?????

i got 2 rooms, I one of them there was hot water and the ac wasn’t working correctly.

Pool areas, the entire hotel was well taken care of! The staff was amazing. Our room came with a fridge which came in handy a lot of times.

The restaurant was quite expensive when it came to drinks, the bathrooms could need an upgrade but everything was clean and well maintained

Bon Jesus had a fantastic pool area. The sun loungers were very comfortable and the sun beds with the curtains were a nice touch. The food was nice in the restaurant but we thought it was slightly pricey for what it was. We expected more from the free breakfast too. The place was very clean overall and felt very relaxing. Oh and the bathroom was very nice and spacious.

The bedrooms were very small and had no windows so we felt quite claustrophobic. The door was quite flimsy and transparent. There wasn't much storage for or space to move around in the bedroom. Wi-fi was bad but that was due to the local area rather than the hotel.
