Las Palmas Resort

They saved us from an issue in the middle of the night and were always so king and quick to help us. We loved guarda at entrance making sure no one comes in

first dd not know it was not a hotel. people at the fron t desk was n o help but the attendant at the front gate was hellpf or else we would still be trying to get into the place

rude people at front desk were rude and not helpful. the guard at front gate was great

I loved the view, the room was better than I expected and had all the comforts of home.

The only issue with the room was there was no hot water in one of the showers. This was an inconvenience for one of the people staying in the room as they had to use the shower in the primary bedroom. On our last full day (Saturday), I decided to do a load of laundry. It would appear the water issue went beyond the bathroom as it was affecting the washing machine as well. I notified the owner. There was no communication with me that someone was being sent to the room to address this. If someone had let me know they wanted to send someone to the room I would have let them know my boyfriend was sleeping and would prefer to not be disturbed at this time. Instead, someone came to the room, woke him up, turned off the water so he wasn't able to take a shower. It was very disruptive to the start of the day and threw things off completely as the person working there was there for over an hour. I have no complaints about the worker, he was very kind and respectful.

The pool bars were all closed. It looked like the resort was closed other than a very few customers.

The pool and spa was a few steps from the room and love that the bars and restaurants are close by

Great happy hour at the pool and beach.

The main bedroom had flat sheet and would move at night so you would be sleeping on a stained mattress pad. It also did not have blinds or black out curtains, so you wake up at sun rise The TV in the 2nd bedroom did not work. The lock on the front door was difficult to open and would take several tries to unlock.

We especially loved the slides and pools.

We had an innertube that was 40 inches, so we couldn't use it

Worse experience it was my birthday and they did not gave me what they offer neither the owner or the stuff from the resort and they have the worse corrupt security is the last time I go to rocky point

Nothing at all

Everything was wonderful except the fact that I contacted the owner in regards of the password to enter the property and although I knew the Check in time we did arrive 2 hrs before and owner refused to provide password until check in time which it was an inconvenience due to the extreme heat and having my Mother a senior tired of the long trip from California and still having to wait sitting in the car for 2hrs

First of all… location is great. This is the second time we stay at Las Palmas. Access to the beach, the amount of security guards on site. The bars, kiddie pool… family friendly. Super safe, clean and amazing… we stayed at Villa 13 and it was great, well equipped, super clean and communication with the host/owner was great… my pictures aren’t that great because it wouldn’t let me upload a video, so took screenshots of my video.

There is nothing we didn’t like… everything was great…

All the swimming pools. You guys have very clean rooms.

The securities were kind of stupid. Treated people like shit. They don’t have no respect.

The beach was horrible, I cut my feet, my wife cut her feet. The bolders were very sharp and pointy. I noticed the other properties had removed the bolders on the beach

Las palmas was awesome!! Clean, legit security, friendly staff!! Grande 301 exceeded expectations! The condo was so clean and perfect location to head down to the beach!! The pools were always very clean!! Would stay again!!

The tvs didn’t work, not too big of a deal, just wanted something to watch to unwind.

The fitness room is way way below all other Sandy Beach resorts. It was unuseable.

Amazing Stay with Incredible Views!What I liked the most was the view from the condo — waking up and seeing the ocean every morning was truly amazing! The pool was a lot of fun, and the beach was just perfect. I also appreciated how safe we felt during our stay, which made everything even more relaxing. The unit was clean and well-equipped — we had everything we needed and no issues at all. While I wouldn't say it looked recently upgraded, it was very comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, a great place to stay!
