Each air-conditioned room at the Sands Arena has simple, bright décor. All accommodations comes with cable TV and a private bathroom. The poolside restaurant serves a range of Mexican and international cuisine. There is also a bar here. Hotel Sands Arena is a 10-minute walk from Mazatlán’sdowntown area, where there is a range of cafés, bars and restaurants. The town’s aquarium and Teodoro Mariscal Baseball Park are within 2.5 mi of the hotel. Mazatlán International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

- Beach access. First floor unit with immediate access to pool and malecon. Hot water for shower. 24-hour receptionist and security. Kind housekeeper.
- Right across the street from the beach. Beautiful view of the ocean and the location is awesome. In the right hands this property would be a five star boutique hotel. The restaurant was ok. Ac worked good and bed was comfy .not as noisy as other motels.

- Difficult to control air conditioning. Sheets need to be replaced. Key card needs replacement.
- There was an infestation of locusts when I was there and they can be quite noisy. The pool is really dirty and I didn¿t see anyone cleaning it. No hot water for showers, shaving. Of course if you ask the staff anything they act like they don¿t know anythi
- No hot water in the shower. After getting arrested by the corrupt city police I just wanted to shower, got to the hotel just to find no hot water in the shower
