Room was spacious, with AC, the property is nicely maintained, gated. It has nice pool area with infinity pool overlooking beach and plenty of pool chairs. There is a restaurant by the pool, the food was absolutely delicious especially their coconut shrimps and I loved their margaritas as well , staff was very nice ! But the main star here is of course the beach, with white sand, turquoise water, beach chairs that is just few steps from your room. I spent only 2 nights but I absolutely loved it! The front desk staff was also very helpful and gave me tips to where to eat outside of the complex. There is 2 restaurants just 5 min walking , plus Oxxo that is open 24h and small shop inside the property.

I only stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect beach retreat, although it was little pricey but for the time I spent and time on the beach totally worth it !

The location is great. Right on the beach and close to center of hotel zone. Good food in the restaurant.Very nice reception and restaurant staff. Very clean!

First thing - the entrance. Its like you are entering a Pentagon. Each time we entered with car we had to give ID's and explain the purpose of our entry. The QR code we had didn't work. It was really frustrating as it always took like 10min. Not something you want to do on your vacation.Then, the reception - really small, it's like they redid one room. The receptionist was really nice and helpful.Third, the hotel and room itself - I wouldn't call this a regular hotel, as not all the rooms in the building are owned by the hotel. Later I saw someone rooms, same as our, just different design, for 50% of what we paid. The room is nice, comfortable beds, AC, but one can see that the renovation is poorly done.Still some finishing and nice touches to be done.

I liked the lication, separate from the crowds, and the beach.it is a good place to be confortable in the pool, and take the sun, it was october 12, 2025, nice weather.

Nothing, maybe some outside concrete with a crack, but overall very good ,and the kitchenette is a big plus.

The food and service at the restaurant was excellent! Also the person that welcomed us in the reception was amazing!

You can hear the voices and noise from the room upstairs. They were a group of young people and we couldn't sleep.

We loved that it was far and away from the bustle of the major hotels and restaurants. We understood that it is an aging property that has been updated in the rooms to meet our expectations. When we needed assistance from Daniela, we got it. Since we, too, had worked here 32 years ago, we really enjoyed our return visit. Wow! Has Cancun changed!I highly recommend this property for the budget traveler. Don't come here and have expectations that cannot be met. Go to the Marriott for that. It's only a mile up the road.

EVERYTHING. The friendly welcome reception, guidance of the property, the facility, , , everything. The room (We chose the double room with balcony) was big enough (40m2) for us the family of 3. The pool was large and directly open to the beach, where we saw 3 turtles coming ashore to lay eggs (July 10th, full moon, apparently high season). We only stayed one night (amid activity packed, tiring, self driving trip) and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

NOTHING. My wife & daughter were complaining why I did not book 2 nights.

The staff is very good and very helpful

This is the second time I've been in this place and I had the same room next to the administration, so in the night therewere a few people who were made a lot of noise, I know you have a lot of rooms with ocean views and I hope next time we can get one.

The room had an excellent view and was clean!

I didn’t like the low water pressure in the shower.I hardly felt like it was a shower and the water was only semi-warm.

The property was amazing with its unique architecture and structure. The location is perfect, 10-15 minutes from the airport and just a quick bus ride from downtown. The on-site convenience store has everything needed for a week's stay. The Casa Del Mar restaurant is excellent and covers all the bases from breakfast, drinks, snacks and dinner. Views from our room admiring the beautiful infinity pool made you hurry down for a swim every day. We will definitely plan on staying there again on our next trip to Cancún.

Lots of seaweed on the beach, food was not great.

Absolutely great value for money. The building is located in the beginning of "Zona Hotelara", so there is a direct access to a beautiful beach and the lagoon on the opposite side. At the same time, it is not very busy and overcrowded and there are no noisy restaurants or clubs nearby. Location is simply perfect. Of course it also means there are no stores or many restaurants to choose from in a walking distance, so it depends what you look for. But - there is a restaurant located at the property and it is great. Food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable.The pool is not very big, but very clean. We stayed there in February and it was not crowded - we got deckchairs without any problems. And the property has a direct exit to the adjoining beach.The room was rather small, but had all the necessary features and the sea view. The beds were very comfy, the bathroom was clean and comfortable. There was a safe deposit box and a fridge.

This property is rather strange, because it is not a hotel as such. It was built as a hotel, but currently several short-term rental companies own or rent a number of rooms in this "hotel" building. The result is that for example "Cancun Plaza - Best Beach" does not have a reception desk. The "reception" is actually one of the rooms and you cannot talk to any qualified clerk there if you have any questions or issues with your stay. You can find there only cleaning ladies, none of which speak any English. That is not a very big problem with Google Translate on your phone, but it looks quite unprofessional.There are no pool towels in a room (and you will see other guests with pool towels - from other rental companies).Still, I have to emphasize that these cons are nothing compared to all the great things about this place that I described above. We would definitely return there.

Restaurant of the hôtel at a very low level. Do not accept debit card to pay the meals. The bathroom of our room was clocked, water was staying long time before flowing.

The place is amazing - great beach, clean hotel, no crowds....perfect vacation!

On our second night there, there was a very loud group of guests near our room who kept us awake from 1 to 4 AM, and no one could stop them...I am not sure how hotel's security couldn't do anything about it.

Location was on top, the place was very clean and overall good value for money. The building and the rooms weren’t the newest, a bit scruffy in some areas, but it was very clean and convenient. Plus, the restaurant was quite good!

Great beach, lovely big pool, very helpful staff, nice view from terrace restaurant, lovely staff who went beyond our expectations and stored our bags and let us have a shower before catching the plane in their office bathroom. Location is stunning on great part of beach, price was reasonable.

Room was bit tired, looks like renovation is happening as our bathroom looked spanking new though there was no hot water, rest of room was functional, clean and quiet but needs updating. Not enough pool loungers, everyone gets up and puts their towels out at 7am so we didnt get anywhere to sit and ended up going to the hotel next door which had loads of loungers on the beach.

Clean and spacious rooms with lovely views of the pool and the beautiful beach. There is a culture of putting towels on sun loungers from early morning but then those people not being on them for half the day which would annoy me if I'd stayed there more than 1 night! Also, there aren't many great food options within short walk distance which is a bit of a challenge if yoi don't have a car and you're staying longer especially as the restaurant on site doesn't get good reviews. But there is a good enough supermarket across the road for self catering options.

Location is great…it’s the Cancún beach.

Completely lacking in basic amenities, floors were greasy, and space was uninviting. Everything else was fine.
