$205 a night deposit, $100 airport to hotel transfer, $50-65 or more per meal(and drink for 1 person)at hotels restaurants

Clean and on the beach

The cancelled one of my nights and gave it to someone else, even though I prepaid for 2 nights! WhenI got back to stay for my second night, they told me that all of my belongings have been taken out of the room and they no longer have rooms for that night because they gave my room to someone else. I HAD NO PLACE TO STAY! I am 43 years old, and have traveled a lot. SLS Residences Cancun was the worst situation and the absolute worst time I have ever been in my entire life. I feel bad for anyone who books and will go through what I did. They obviously did that to make more money on the room. They got paid twice for the same night.

When we arrived the reception could not find the booking reservation and we had to wait half an hour….

The apartment was very luxurious and spacious. The staff were all lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. My wife and I got into the bathrobes provided after a lovely swim in the pool and a hot shower and lazed around watching movies and ordered some delicious room service. It was just the night away we needed.

I felt the spa facility’s - sauna, cold plunge and spa could be a little better value. The price was $70 USD, per person and although the facilities were lovely, I felt that was too high, so we didn’t use them in the end. You can get the same service in many places in NYC for around $50. And in Australia for less than $40. These places are equally if not more luxurious.

Bed and bath was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable

The floor was dirty and needed to be mopped. Restaurant service was inconsistent and only average.

Great location, very quiet and safe. Hotel staff was very professional and accommodating. Will definitely recommend SLS for families looking for a nice, quiet getaway.

We were told we could bring our own booze to the pool. The second day we did they said they want to charge a $500 pesos uncorking fee

Beautiful pool

Terrible service. Bathroom had water all over and lady had to come clean it all. Asked for towels 4-5 times. Hot as hell in the room and they kept just saying it’s bc the balcony door kept opening but even when it was closed completely, it was still hot. Tried talking to manager and he did not help at all.

Good restaurant

AC controllers failed at night. Could not sleep. Rooms too hot. Night manager unable to fix, no engineer. No Apology from corporate or from Accor, both of which ignored my communications before this review.

The property was beautiful and in an amazing location.

My shower head was broken, but hotel staff tended to our every need. They were very prompt when called to fixed or address any situation.

Great pool area and beach club. Spacious, modern room.

Initially we had to fight to get a decent room, but eventually managed. The music starting at 7am.

Hot Plate choices on the breakfast menu

Breakfast was great, except for the fact that the waiter did not fully explain that the buffet included a hot plate off the menu provided on the table. We thought we had to choose from menu if we did not want the Buffet. I suggest to any guest choose the buffet.

Beautiful property 10/10. Food excellent, service excellent. Everyone treated us very nice and made sure we had an excellent stay from the second we checked in. The view was beautiful, super clean hotel, luxurious. Staff just wonderful! Coming back asap!

It’s very safe and in a secure location

The staff was not very welcoming. We had a king suite with an ocean view. When we got into the room, we only had a partial view of the ocean. Not what I expected for the price. There are 2 pools on the property, you can’t use the big pool because it’s only for residences which left the small pool very crowded and inviting. The hotel location is very far from the hotel zone. We felt very trapped due to the location.

Clean, Modern and close to shopping and on the beach. Maria the hotel manager was a gem.
