Located next to the beach on the Mayan Riviera, the Royal Haciendas Resort & Spa offers luxury suites set in tropical gardens. The complex offers swimming pools, tennis courts and a free shuttle to Playa del Carmen. All accommodations have free Wi-Fi, and many suites have a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and DVD player. Some also have wonderful ocean views. The Royal Haciendas complex has a spa and wellness center with Turkish baths. There is also a fitness center. The beach next to the complex offers loungers and parasols. The Hacienda complex offers activities including diving. Nearby Playa del Carmen offers a good range of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as beautiful natural surroundings. Cancun International Airport is 30 minutes’ drive away.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of USD 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. - Very friendly and accommodating staff, many activities and options all day long. Not a big party place, more laid back.

Cons -
- The decor is a bit dated, but it?s very clean and I really didn?t mind. The beach erosion is something that is not the fault of the resort.
- Our a/c leaked through the bathroom ceiling three times during our 4 day stay. They finally fixed it but it was very inconvenient.
- Disappointing experience at this resort. The food options were appalling looking, causing sickness in 7 of 9 members of our party. Compared to other resorts in the area, the cuisine was subpar, and the entertainment consistently lackluster. Not returning
