As it is a historical monument protected by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), elevators are not allowed in the hotel since they would modify its original structure. Some rooms may or may not have a window. Traditional Mexican cuisine is served in the La Llave Restaurant. Guests can enjoy a drink in the bar or in the attractive courtyard. The Hidalgo is located in the center of Santiago de Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
