Very quiet location

Location was great and service people were great

the place was under construction, they were updating a lot of rooms and sadly we were near the noisier part, although noise stopped by 6 pm, children were tired and needed nap and couldn't because of the noise, even being in the room gave everyone a headache.

Initially we felt like it was too central and noisy, but simply listening to the dancing and nightlife from our room was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.The location is very central and walkable to every point of interest in the city. Banks, food, shopping, art galleries, excellent cafes … it’s got everything!The staff are so kind, helpful and accommodating too. There is a restaurant downstairs, laundry services, travel services, massages … anything you need the staff will help you with. I cannot say enough things about every single person who works there. They are all very special and patient!We really loved everything about our stay :)

If we had to dislike one thing about the property, it’s the beds. They are comfortable enough, albeit a bit hard.

I loved this hotel. The location is perfect. As a female solo traveller, I felt very safe. It can be noisy in the zocolo but it is a good noise. It’s music and dancing and people enjoying themselves. I had no problem relaxing in my room and sleeping at night. The room was simple and clean. Bathroom was updated and very nice. Air conditioning worked well. There are renovations going on during the day on the top floor but that didn’t bother me at all. The staff was helpful, pleasant and non-intrusive.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable bed and room

The windows are not double glass so you can hear the noise of the square pretty loud in the room with people singing etc. Make sure to bring ear plugs , then it is fine.

Great Mexican charm right on the zocalo , close to restaurants, shopping and cultural activities. Rooms were spacious.

When we went to pay the bill the price charged differed from what was quoted on Bookings.com. Recommend at check in to verify the price.

Location is great. The architecture of the building is beautiful. Staff is very attentive. Great views of the Zocalo and Catedral.

Because it's located at the Zocalo the noise can start very early and end late. The Zocalo is often used for many festivities, concerts, etc... The mattress could be better but comfortable enough to sleep.

The location

the receptionist was not honest when i asked for a room for 2 nights, she gave me a price that was the double of what I saw on Booking. Once I made her notice she told me something weird, she kept insisting that that the price. So i booked through booking and she didn't apologize in front of the arrogant and clear diservice.

It was at the heart of the plaza square and very close to everything. There was parking available andIs free. The staff was helpful and the rooms are spacecious.

Helpful staff who booked our taxi to the airport for us, excellent location for centre of town, comfortable bed and nice bathroom, hot shower!

Rooms don’t have AC and during the day they are very hot. There is a coffee maker but no spoons, cups and sugar.

I like the room and the location of the palace

It was a bit loud you can hear everything from the other room and hallways

The location was perfect. Located between the cathedral and the Zocalo. Walking distance to food and shopping. The building’s architecture is amazing. We had a balcony with a great view.

Our room faced the Zocalo and the New Year’s stage and celebration area. It was loud on New Year’s Eve. However, very quiet the following day.

Perfect location for us. You could walk out your door and be in the middle of it all!

I don’t have anything negative about the place. We all enjoyed our stay. We had 2 kiddos with us and it worked out well.

The hotel is located in the centre of Oaxaca, personnel is friendly and helpful and the rooms are equipped with everything you need.

The windows are not sound proof.
