- This is my second time at this hotel and I love it. The staff is friendly, it’s a very calm quiet hotel and walking distance to everything.
Cons -
- Room was not as advertised, room was stained, not dirty but stained walls. Staye
- It supposed to be cancelation free and no prepayment needed but they charge full amount in advance without even asking
- The property is run down, dirty. The bathroom is awful! You have to wear water shoes to shower. The property charged us about $100 more than the rate I booked with Booking.com

Cheap. And they used warm light bulbs which is always better in hotels.
Very uncomfortable beds. Shower never had hot water. Internet only works in the lobby.
Pay for what you get... but inhabitable
Place was absolutely filthy, bedsheets were like something out of a horror movie, ended up sleeping on the floor. Was some form of blood on the towel, booked 4 nights checked out after 1 night
My family stayed in a room there and they were very accomadating. The receptionist was lovely and helpful.
It was available on time
The Bathroom are too small but is comfortable
Staff were polite. Water was hot. The location was walking distance from everything!Only hotel not booked completely for Dia de Los muertos
I had to ask 3 times for a toilet seat to be put on the toilet.
Great location
Beds very uncomfortable, bathroom was horrible, lots of cockroaches on the floor
Just the location
Everything! No water pressure, terrible bed, very noisy inside hôtel, terrible service!
It is a building
An area where I don’t feel safe walking alone at night, depressing room, stained sheets, looks like a horror game setting, just bad
It was the worst experience I’ve ever had.No air conditioning, the condition of the room did meet not even 1 start expectations. The bathroom with no seat. The towels were discolored. The bed had no sheets. The refrigerator was nasty, disgusting. Is the worse place I ever stayed.
Everything, this hotel does not meets the regulations of a hotel to host clients.
Close to center
Rooms was to small I am claustrofóbic
We are 5 cyclists and they had no issues with us taking our bikes upstairs and into the room, which gave us more peace of mind than leaving them in the lobby. Walking distance from everything you could need.
Worst place in Oaxaca
It was a Scam. Booking says that it was the best option under that price category and I booked for two nights, it was sadly the worst decision.I got supposedly a premium or superior suite. The room was pricey for what I got in exchange. All looked, dingy, old, and worm, there was a carpet on the floor that seemed pretty dirty so were the bed sheets, (I slept at the end with my clothes on, because it felt everything dirty), I got two towels of different colors which seemed pretty worn and the TV didn't work. After seeing the room, I decided immediately that I didn't want to stay another day so I changed to just one night, I didn't want to spend the night looking for another room and it was already late.I took a shower and when I took one of the towels, was full of red stains, really disgusting. The bathroom was a built-in thing, there was no proper shower and the toilet had no seat. The next day when I left, there was another couple who was also leaving because they fell in the same scam. In the end, I paid 44 Euros for the experience. For that price, you find 100 places in the area, nicely decorated, clean, and much better. It was sadly a very bad experience in such a beautiful city, which cost me money, and a lot of time to enjoy properly my stay. That is a good reason why I don't trust pictures!
The location, staff were nice
I honestly have no idea where they get the pictures from. It's the worst false advertising I've seen of a room. The room is tiny, the walls etc need cleaned. The bathroom door only closes from the inside and there's no toilet seat (common for oaxaca city) so there's constant smell coming up from shower and toilet. We kept the door open to circulate some air but a lot of the residents smoke outside so that also stinks. It's fine for 1 night but it really does not look like the pictures at all, so absolutely not what was expected. No shelving for any belongings so everything sits on the floor. Also tiny window that does nothing.
Good central location
Everything else. Dirty bed linens and towels, a clogged sink, bad wifi in the rooms, awful mattresses, the toilet door does not reach the floor.
The only good about this hotel is the the location to the downtown area.
For starters, the room was the size of a closet. The bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain or a toilet seat. While you taking a shower, the water was literally goings everywhere in the bathroom. They didn’t have an elevator and we were on the third floor with luggages.
Love that it was near everything in downtown specially the mercado 20 de noviembre to eat delicious típicas Oaxacan food. The bed was not comfortable at all but the place was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was decent. Water pressure was super low which was hard when flushed, took a shower with very little pressure, or the sink drain was very slow as well. Staff was very friendly. Wish it would have continental breakfast included.
