    • Beautiful hotel with nice gardens and a very nice swimming pool and spa. It's a refuge in the city, and fairly quiet except when a large group of students arrived, but they were gone all day.

    Cons -

    • The vegetarian food in the restaurant looks nice but doesn't taste very good, very bland. They could use a creative chef. It could be delicious.
    • The safe wasn’t workingThe restaurant is vegan when 99% of the people in the world aren’t. Bad watered coffeeIt was a cold night and no additional blankets are provided
    • The beds were lop sided and had wheels. Minimal assistance from the staff, not even directions to our rooms. The photos show a hot tub, but it's part of the spa with a fee and not even functional on the days we were there. The hotel also has a sign in our rooms that there would be a 200 usd fee for alcohol consumption.... now i can see smoking in the room fee, but a drink, a beer, really!! ...this i thought was weird ....I didn't see this anywhere when I was booking.. so check this out, or you might receive complaints.

The very respectful atmosphere, personnel exceptional kind, receptionist provided us with the extra services we needed as safety guidelines regarding Transportation (Taxis ). The rooms very clean and comfortable with fresh aroma. I highly recommended it. Thank you very much, "Hotel Los Olivos" for your outstanding service mostly in safety...

Lovely spacious grounds, hummingbirds in the trees and a big pool. Nice to find vegetarian food in Mexico.

It was clean. The spa was lovely.

It was far away from downtown. No way you can walk, there was a strike one day, because the whole town has a lack of water no taxi wanted to take us back to the hotel and we ended up walking for an hour. They should specify in their website that they do not serve alcohol and that you are not allowed to have alcohol in your room if they have to clean any empty bottles, you will be charged $200 the restaurant is vegetarian which is fine, but the hotel is not in a good neighborhood. So the restaurants around there are not very nice .

    Property exteriors

No place to work, bad internet, no so helpful staff, not great location, there are no spaces for you to make remote work, you can not even use the restaurant space to conect

Excellent rooms and all the complex. Very clean. Spa Excellent.

The internet was extremely poor. There is no wardrobe in the room.

Clean hotel, room was very dark

    A long walk from center

The facilities, the pool the people and the restaurant All of them are very good ?

In the room 225 the beds that's not good because they have " ruedas" and it was very uncomfortable

    8LauraPosted on: 2-20-2023

swimming pool was nice and the room very clean, nice staff!

unfortunately no free coffee in the morning and a bit far out of the center but you can walk or talk a taxi

We really liked this hotel and the staff. The rooms were well decorated and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The people in reception were very welcoming and the cleaning staff were excellent. The pool was lovely and we almost had it to ourselves. It was very quiet - hard to believe you are in a big city.

The only drawback was the distance form the city centre. We were staying for four days and took a lot of taxis initially before discovering that many of the buses across the road went into or close to the centre - and that was great.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, very quiet, very clean.

I couldn't connect my charger to the wall outlet

    6OanaPosted on: 10-14-2022

    walking distance to centre

basic, more like an inn, not exactly the feeling of a spa

    10CPosted on: 6-17-2022

The whole spa ambiance experience- an oasis in the middle of Oaxaca

No AC- if you are travelling during the hot months it is something to consider. Very uncomfortable to sleep.

Great place! super clean and the staff was super attentive. We had an issue with the TV and they fixed it super quickly also the food in the breakfast was fantastic

    5PetrPosted on: 2-25-2022

There's a free parking which is why I picked this place. There's a huge supermarket right next doors.

The whole area resembles a basic motel where you may wanna sleep over rather than enjoy your stay. The rooms are very dark. The walls are as if made of paper and the pool could have been better maintained. I have also never seen a closet in a bathroom ?. Finally, the price is pretty steep for what it has to offer. There are hotels for almost half a price that are somewhat cozier in the region.

Room was big and clean. Beautiful garden and nice pool. Overall, this could be quite a hotel.

Staff seemed not to care about anything. He gave us the key without mentioning the pool or breakfast and they couldn't answer any questions. Also, I know it's my fault not speaking Spanish in a Spanish speaking country, but I did chose this hostel also because it said English speaking staff. But nobody did. Quite disappointing since we were looking to get some help

Very good breakfast although it's for additional cost (160 pesos). Room cleaning works like a clock.I enjoyed the memory pillows.

It was supposed to be a calm place, outside the centre, but the kids were running, playing outside our room till 3 am (this might been because of Dia de Muertes, but it happened two nights in a row).TV remote control is hard to understand. We had an early flight and there was no hot water at night. The pool is oh so cold.

The staff, the swimming pool were great. The room was very clean

The toilet was continuously flushing. The food was vegetarian only
