- The hotel was small and charming but the room had a toilet that didn't work and each day I had to fix the refill on the inside of the toilet for it to flush. The last day the toilet leaked onto the entire floor of the bathroom and the toilet just stopped
- The staff is super nice and helpful. Provide umbrellas when raining, made reservation for restaurants, taxis, etc. My parents got sick during stay and they call doctor for a room visit.. extremely nice and helpful. Also location was wonderful!!

Best of everything! Wonderful location, Miguel at the desk handles EVERYTHING! He is now a new friend. Lots of good restaurants and coffee and French pastries 1 minute away. This is my 4th time at this hotel. Will always stay here when in Oaxaca.
This hotel was very, very clean - and designed in the Spanish style with rooms set around a courtyardand a lovely lovely rooftop terrace and garden with Mountain View’s. We were there for the winter holidays and the decorations were super festive. The staff was outstanding - Miguel was very welcoming and accommodating and helped us arrange an amazing tour to Sierra Norte. The other staff were also super friendly!
There is a drought and water supply issue in Oaxacan are and the water pressure in the shower was not especially strong.
Great experience and beautiful location. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the check in and checkout process was stress free!
Great location. Big room. A lot of storage space. Good info from the receptionidt regarding local attractions or daily activities. Really cute and nice rooftop.
Terrible wifi, hair in bathroom, bad water pressure (maybe due to Oaxaca water shortage), there is a window but you only see a wall to another building. There are vents above room door and bathroom window which lets in noise from hallway and viceversa. Hard beds.
The location it’s great and the staff are super kind
I like that it’s small hotel and the location is in the beautiful neighborhood
Location, clenliness and very friendly staff
Pillows are not comfortable at all and the towels need to be renewed
Clean and quiet
Reception is not open midday. The T.V. is only local channels.NO iron in the room. They offered to request a taxi service for me, I scheduled one for 5 a.m. and I ended on the street waiting for a taxi to the airport and it never came.So if you need that service do it by yourself.
Very cute place. Safe didn’t work, lightning wasn’t relaxing, and the shower situation was weird, but the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
The location was ideal, it was charming, and the staff was helpful.
The pillows were really hard. The taxi driver that the hotel set up to take us to the airport in the morning wanted us to pay 100 pesos more than what the hotel told us, so be sure to reconfirm the price with both the hotel and the taxi driver in advance of getting in the car.
Great location, cute building and very clean. Terrace is superb. We were comfortable for our stay for the most part.
It is not very sound proof, so light sleepers might not enjoy it. The rooms and bathrooms have vents into the indoor courtyard so you can hear a pin drop from the other side of the building. Our window faced the inner stairwell so we didn’t have any windows to the outside and the curtains were pinned for privacy. Staff could’ve been more available and helpful during their hours too. For example, during our check out we were hoping to order a cab to the airport but no one was to be found. Small thing that could’ve made this stay even better, even with the limitations of the building.
2 days we just walked around the neighborhood and city. Lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We felt very safe, even at night.
Beautiful small, friendly, cozy, well-appointed, home-y hotel in the incredible district of Jalatlaco. The room had a fan and ac that worked great, a nice desk and chair, and there were beautiful plants and decorations all over the hotel making it a very peaceful living space. They also have a free filtered water machine for filling up water bottles, and a beautiful rooftop to sit and look down at the area and around towards the mountains. it's also steps from amazing restaurants, cafes, shops, and sites, and just a few (fun and interesting) minutes walk into the center of town. It's a quieter part of town, but still really cute and lively. The staff was very friendly and accomodating too. Definitely recommended!
Nothing. I had an excellent stay here - really loved the location/neighborhood, the ac and fan and desk in the room, as well as the closet with luggage rack, and the staff were really nice. great exeperience in total!
The cleaning lady was nice
The elevator made a horrible sound and our room was right nest to it.The front desk personnel were rude and not helpful. There is nobody there to check you in before 10am Or after 10pm
The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the housekeeping lady! She is amazing!
Horrible customer service! We arrived and there was no receptionist!!! Not even during check-in or check out time!! If you stay here, keep in mind that you are on your own! If your room is next to the elevator, you won't be able to sleep due to the loud noise from the elevator!!!
No breakfast available, bur several good spots nearby. two good tours offered, which we enjoyed.
Knowing where the boiling water dispenser was for tea making.
booked hotel thru Oaxaca Food and Wine Festivalgreat location, the Jalatlaco neighborhood has wall art, walking distance to coffee and artisan shops, affordable restaurants and the park where we went at night to grab a snack, people watch and fire works at the churchhotel staff were friendly and helpful the hotel had a terrace, went there morning, noon and night to relax and recharge
Location was in a pretty decent area. The overall hotel was also nicely decorated with a lot of plants. They have a very nice terrace. The staff was quite helpful
Rooms could be spruced up a bit. The power connectors are on one end of the room only. One bed has 2 night stands, the other one has none. The safe was out of order so couldn't be used. The Booking.com had shown a desk in the room which was definitely not there, just a dresser which couldn't be used as a work desk for sure. The towels were not changed for the entire stay of 5 nights which in my opinion is a bit long to not change the towel. They would always hang them for drying in the room, but with 3 people, we had no way of even knowing which towel was used by whom the previous day. The room was spacious so they can easily add a proper clothes cupboard or closet.
