    Pros +

    • Not far from city center was 3 blocks away.
    • The lobby was always sparkling clean, staff were nice, price was appropriate
    • New building, clean room, friendly staff

    Cons -

    • Cleanliness of shower and walls. There was water dripping from toilet it seems.
    • The location, while technically in the historic city center, was far from tourist areas and required walking through areas full of noisy stalls. The room was sparse and could use updating, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the television did not work.
    • Noisy market street, cheap shower head

Great location and clean. Wonderful shower. Nice that there was a safe. Breakfast area and breakfast were very good. Complimentary parking was also very good.

Room was smallish without any windows to the exterior.

The Hotel was very clean and very supportive staff. Great location to walk around Downtown Oaxaca. Parking across the Hotel in underground lot.

Only negative to point out, I had requested side-by-side rooms in advanced and was not given that accommodation.

    Location and good breakfast.

Our room didn’t have a window.

The accommodation is on very convenient location and walkable to all places.

There is no lift and to take big luggages , even though staff helped , it was not that easy

The room was clean. The guy who's working in the lobby was really kind (I forgot his name)

The pillows are hardThe drain in the shower was clogged

Showers heated quickly, decent breakfast & drinking water provided

Rooms are small and we could hear everything going on next door

This was the most terrible stay that we have had throughout our entire months in Mexico. The place is very noisy. Humidity levels are unbearable, and the staff is the rudest people we have dealt with in the entire city. The staff is very unfriendly. They are disrespectful. They lack the basic manners of hospitality and treating people from different cultures. They are very rigid and completely dishonest.

The staff food level of cleans level of noise and the lack of honesty and the lack of getting any direct response from them.

Very centrally located, the colonial style look of the building has a very home style feeling. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Not a thing.

Breakfast was great, the room was clean and neat! Staff was super friendly.

There was so much noise at night!Rattling, pounding! It was awful. I'm a light sleeper and all that noise really woke me up at night.Staff makes so much noise in the morning to pepare breakfast. I know it's their duty but they should mind other people's sleep.

In the historical center of Oaxaca, close to everything by foot, many stores in the area, parking space in a closed an secured place nearby.

Location is very good, very close to downtown, hotel is clean and quiet, the staff is very kind and always available to help, breakfast is very good, staff also very kind. The top roof is very nice to have the breakast,

Nice hotel close to the central square. Very lively neighborhood with street vendors outside. Hotel staff was outstanding. Morning breakfast was very good.

    Everything was fine.

Beautiful building with a fantastic rooftop terrace for breakfast and relaxing during the day. Fantastic breakfast and service.

Location was more in the locals neighborhood, rather than the trendy neighborhood. But if you want some local flavor, like we did,it’s not a problem.

    8EmmaPosted on: 2-8-2025

Beautiful building design inside, room comfortable and clean, rooftop terrace to have breakfast etc.

The location wasn’t the best area in Oaxaca but still ok for one night…very expensive twin room though!

    6LauraPosted on: 1-22-2025

The best is the location. I felt safe being that close to zocalo (5minute walk)

I got room #1 and I could hear people entering the hotel later at night. Also the room was not perfectly cleaned

    6AndreaPosted on: 1-8-2025

The hotel was ok, served its purpose. There is a nice rooftop where they serve breakfast. The breakfast has hot and cold options which was more than we expected for a small hotel (although it wasn't very nice so we decided to just go out after the first breakfast). Staff were able to look after our bags after check out. We also sat on the rooftop to watch fireworks at New Year which was cool.

We had an economy double room which was very small and dark and the only window faced into the central courtyard so we ended up having to keep the curtain shut the whole time anyway. The room was a bit shabby overall. The bathroom was tiny and there was an horrific stench coming from the sink so we had to keep it plugged the whole time. Because of the courtyard arrangement every noise anyone makes anywhere in the hotel is amplified and you can hear everything in the room, starting with breakfast from before 7am and going until late into the night. The location is a little bit away from the main tourist areas and I wouldn't have felt safe walking back there on my own after dark - even with two of us it felt a bit dodgy. Given the price I expected better, but maybe this is standard for Oaxaca?

    - the lobby was nice- the terrace where you can have breakfast is nice (good views)- the coffee served at breakfast was nice - the staff was friendly and helped find a solution when we complained about the room smell

    - terrible smell in the room (humidity). Really hard to sleep the first night because of this. - although the hotel is located in the historic district of Oaxaca, it’s in a very bad street where we didn’t feel safe.- very very tiny room, we could barely fit two small suitcases and have enough room to move around the room.- breakfast options were scarce and not great.- tiny bed (<130cm), very very hard mattress.- room wasn’t perfectly clean, we found hairs on the bathroom walls and really strange stains on the floors around the room.- the towels were bad quality and had holes in them. In summary, this is a hotel I would expect to find with a 6-7 point ranking, definitely not >8. We were really disappointed. There are plenty of better options in the city for a similar price.
