    Pros +

    • This hotel is close to very where in Huatulco. Big rooms, new air conditioning, big pool with tropical garden and lounge area. Good restaurant. Affordable.
    • Be aware of the pool
    • We’re a family of 5 and booked two rooms. Stayed only one night as a last-minute filler between other accommodations. Very conveniently located in La Crucecita. A short walk to grocery stores, taco carts, restaurants, etc. Staff were all great - super friendly and accommodating. The first room we were shown was on the ground floor by the pool and was mouldy. Staff were very understanding and apologetic and when no other standard rooms were available, upgraded us to a juniour suite free of charge. Pool was clean and well maintained. We didn’t try the restaurant because we were in the mood for street food (there’s a great taco cart about two blocks northwest, past the Chedraui), but they had barbecue night set up beside the pool and it looked great, and the general restaurant looked good, too. Does have an elevator for those with accessibility issues, but rooms were not spacious enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

    Cons -

    • I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. My nephew was injured due to the hotel’s clear negligence in maintaining their pool area. The property was unsafe — with hazards that should have been addressed long before guests were allowed to use the facilities. As a paying guest, I expected basic safety standards, but instead, we faced a preventable accident that caused our family distress. What is most concerning is that such negligence puts every visitor, especially children, at risk.Until the hotel takes responsibility and improves the maintenance of their pool and property, I cannot recommend staying here. Safety should always come before profit, and unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic duty of care.
    • Given the price we paid, it was a bit dated, the two rooms we booked were dark and stuffy. All have a/c, which worked well, but I’d rather have better airflow than feel like I’m in a refrigerator. Internet was spotty, as was the function of the smart TVs. Could occasionally hear cars, party buses, and someone on a microphone but this didn’t seem to continue through the night. This may be worse depending on the day (we stayed on a Sunday night). If accessibility is a factor for you, note that the juniour suite’s beds were in a second floor loft that is only accessed by a set of wooden stairs (there were handrails). Overall, this was fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend more than a few nights.
    • This is not a luxury stay, but very good for a mid-range hotel.

Welcoming staff with an excellent breakfast and restaurant. Many nights included live music. We made use of the games room and bar. Comfortable room and a great pool area with lots of tropical plants and tables and chairs for lounging. A shuttle was available to take us to the affiliated beach location with umbrellas, restaurant, and good swimming.

This is not a luxury stay, but very good for a mid-range hotel.

    The location and price

It’s very old needs a little update and it is also very old people culture!! if you are a young family with kids, you do not feel welcome to here. They asked for absolutely no noise at the pool all the Canadians give you a weird look like you don’t belong there.

Attentive staff, serene at night overlooking pool, nice breakfast buffet

    Parking on roaf out front

The food at the restaurants was good, and the prices were great.

I stayed at this hotel expecting a relaxing vacation, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I specifically asked twice for blackout curtains, and despite following up, they were never installed nor was I offered any alternative. This might seem like a small detail, but if you're hoping to sleep in during your holiday, it's a big issue. The room lets in a lot of sunlight, and by 6:00 a.m., it's bright enough to wake you up. If rest and sleep are important to your stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of response and follow-through from staff was disappointing.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, clean pool.

    Rooms were a bit dated.

    10LaurelPosted on: 3-24-2025

The location was great. The beds were comfy. The room was clean and staff were courteous and helpful. The pool area was very nice and the chicken soup at the restaurant was exceptional. It was very easy to get a taxi from here.

There was no elevator to the 2nd floor where we were at, but a porter helped quickly. The A/C blew down on me and I had to sleep with a pillow over my head. The bathroom needed more towels.

The hotel was clean, quiet and the breakfasts were outstanding

We reserved a Jr Suite and on viewing it saw that we would have to negotiate a full flight of stairs to get to the bathroom. We thought this was too dangerous at our age and at night. They offered us a standard room (17% less expensive) and denied our request for a refund or on site credit for food or other services. Booking.com followed suit saying there are photos of the staircase. There is no mention as to whether the bathroom is on the upper or lower floor, though. The very next guests to register did receive that Jr suite, so there was no loss to the hotel. At the Friday BBQ night we shared a “rib eye” steak. My half I could not cut with a steak knife or chew. Surely, grass-fed beef will be more dense but this was impossible to eat. We dined elsewhere for the duration of our stay

The location. We could walk to town. Close to the beach.

We couldn't get English tv. The phone never worked. Kept asking, but they didn't fix them. The restaurant wasn't offering good quality food, so we didn't eat there.

    6BiancaPosted on: 12-31-2024

The breakfast was delicious, staff members really polite, rooms are clean.

We stayed in the junior suite and did not like how much noise the floor makes. Also when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and turned on the light there were tiny cockroaches. Also thought the rooms need some TLC they are a bit outdated.

    9JodyPosted on: 12-19-2024

For the price it was a perfect stay for a few days. Beds were decent, everything was clean, pool area was great.

Awful lighting in the room and many plugins did not work.

    7MariaPosted on: 10-28-2024

    Pool is amazing

Internet was really bad. I asked the reception twice to restart the modem but it never improve

    8NeftaliPosted on: 9-28-2024

Great location. The hotel is near the plaza in Crucesita, Santa Cruz beach, and walking/running paths. The rooms have a charming rustic theme.

There was a fee for extra coffee bags.No a la cart breakfast option. Guests must purchase the full buffet.

    10JessicaPosted on: 9-9-2024

Beautifully and artistically decorated, love the loft-style rooms, food was exceptional, Live music on Saturday night by the pool was outstanding, staff was friendly and welcoming

    I wish I stayed longer!

    9WaynePosted on: 1-17-2024

Excellent breskfast. Location is an easy walk or a cheap cab ride to the local beaches snd downtown srea.

The pool has a lot of chlorine that will cause your eyes to burn.

    8NiamhPosted on: 11-8-2023

Big rooms, comfy beds, really good a/c.Staff were very friendly.Beautiful pool

Would have preferred to have been able to help myself at breakfast.Bar/restaurant service was a little over-attentive

    10KellyPosted on: 11-5-2023

The entire staff was so attentive during our stay. We didn’t venture far from the hotel due to physical limitations of our mother. Our family room was perfect for our elderly mother. The entire staff was very friendly and fun to hang out with. The food was delicious. We had the breakfast buffets, poolside lunches, sit down fine dinning on their front patio area. We hired a private tour guide from the hotel to do simple things downtown. Our driver Jaime was also very attentive to our mother, we enjoyed his company. This little boutique hotel was the perfect location to gather prior heading to Mazunte for our sons destination wedding.

The pool was leaking, but we just took it in stride. They were working so hard to fix it. The other guests children were enjoying the lower water levels. It was all part of the experience and entertainment.

    All good

Shower was awful, lukewarm and no water pressure. The room was cleaned only once in 4 nights
