    • It is a nice looking hotel and the rooms are comfortable.
    • The food was very good. The staff and drinks were wonderful.

    Cons -

    • The air conditioning wasn't working. The hotel staff wasn't helpful. The front desk person said he would be up shortly to help us. He arrived almost two hours later when we were going to bed.
    • The pool needs a little TLC but I assume it's hard to fix during high season. Would be great to have a little snack bar in the lobby area if you don't feel like walking to buffet.
    • Wlfi was terrible. Food was a bit stale and ants all over the bedroom.

The service and staff were excellent. The food was really yummy. The private beach was really nice. It was always really clean.

The adult pool always had kids and it was so dirty. The pool area smelled like sewer. The bar hours are ridiculous- no alcohol served with breakfast or after 10pm.

Good variety. Likes the mexican coffee Enjoyed the chicken and rice Cinnamon french toast Banana water guacamole and pico de gallo. Hamburgers good. Juices very good.

Only buffet option. Fish tasted not fresh.

Meals were really great and service excellent. The views from our room were beautiful, and the beach was amazing. You have to take a taxi to other beaches because the one in the hotel has many rocks, but just for a few dollars. 'La Entrega' and 'El Arrocito' beaches were so beautiful and very close to the hotel. The pool was fantastic.

My only recommendation, it would be great if the orange juice and green juice were not diluted ?

reception staff were friendly and the cleaning staff were very attentive.

the staff in the restaurant were not attentive. very slow. for simple snacks it took over 40 minutes. we have to go and find them to order drinks. the beds are very small in twin room.

The hotel is a small size resort, got a two bed room that I would find small for 4 peopleTheir employees, most of them (reception people is drown in power)You can see a beautiful sunrise and most rooms are within the main jungle area so wild animals can be seen and heard

Having to walk down a ramp next to the building to reach the restaurant, beach and other amenities. In this area they only have one set of restrooms for everything and everyone apparently (the restaurant’s basement) so it meant having to climb up from the beach and their risky stairs or if in the pool, and then some stairs up and down to get there. That’s ridiculous. Services are limited and they have not enough staff. They went with the cheapest when it came to the new year’s dinner, which wasn’t really attractive for most guests who returned to their rooms instead of stay in common areas.

    The maid service was good.

The food is horrible. The menu is a mixed language menu of "Spanglish" and the titles for "fish fingers" translated into English is really a ceviche which is raw fish marinated in lemon or lime. They need to correct this. The menu has no variety on it. The buffet for breakfast is not good at all. The food is not healthy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They close their restaurant between 3PM and 7PM which is not smart it should be open from 7AM to 9PM at night consistently. It's a hotel and there are no other restaurants nearby. No healthy options on the menu, it's either greasy, old, no flavor, and/or poorly prepared. The noise of the construction going on on next to the hotel and inside the hotel with banging going on was not a good experience at all. Can hear the construction happening the entire time that they are working. Internet went out several times and then they came along and shoved a bunch of cables in to each router between rooms and when they were doing it in our room it was loud, workers were yelling from the top to the bottom floor to our third floor in the shaft for the router. This was a two or three day project. When it was "finished" the internet was worse than before. Open sewage smell all around the hotel complex is really strong at times stronger than others. Worse by the restaurant where people eat! There are tubes that come up from the ground that waft terrible, strong odor, also when walking down to the restaurant near the small beach to the right of the restaurant terrible sewage smells come from there too. The pool is scummy, doesn't have the right skimmer equipment in it, wrong balance of chemicals in the pool and most likely their pump filters are dirty because there is no strong jets coming out of the pool to circulate the water. A weird system. The pool should be torn apart, a new one put in with modern design.

Beautiful scenery, nice big pool. Beach was only a couple feet away, bartender was really good. A/C in room, cleaning staff was really good, reception people very friendly.

Beaches are not swimmable at all, should disclose that. There’s no Wi-Fi in rooms, only in the common areas such as reception, restaurant, pool area, and should disclose that ahead of time. Buffet restaurant food was very sub par for the amount they charge, very expensive and limited amount of choices. The walk down the beaches in pretty long but the scenery is beautiful.

    7CarmenPosted on: 11-15-2024

The natural environment, the food is fine, the architecture in stone.

The price is higher compared to the few amenities that offer, a beach with red flag that anybody can use, a single pool, a lot of construction noise and a room leaking water doesn’t worth the money that charge per night.

Nice and clean beautiful location special shout out to team capichino excelent service

One female had a real bad attitude in the front desk

    7SagrarioPosted on: 8-16-2024

The staff were really amicable! They treated us amazingly!

The pool was really dirty, you feel the slime at the bottom of the pool and in the sides, the water NEVER looked clear in the 7 days we stayed there, so we did not enjoy the pool because of that we stayed out of it. The bar had only ONE bartender! For all the people they had! So to wait for drinks was a long waiting time.

Food was tremendous. Oaxacan food night was the best. Tlayudas were so gooooood. Beach was nice, path to top of the ridge was really beautiful. Henry the lifeguard was really nice and helpful. Showed me how to safely snorkel and see fish in rough waves. Juan and Alexis from the dinner staff were so professional and welcoming.

The only thing that could have been better is maybe putting some fans in the restaurant at night. It was so humid and hot everyone was sweating eating dinner. But that was not that bad.

The AC in the room was perfect for the weather and the room was very spacious.

The food was subpar, we had the buffet that they had and the food was cold and not what we expected for being in Mexico. The adult pool was a bit warm and other guests still had their children in the pool with them. I inquired at the front desk if that was acceptable and the receptionist said that only 12 and older are allowed and that she would call the employees downstairs and bring it to their attention. The next night it was the same thing and we even saw a woman take her child in a diaper into the pool and leave the dirty one on a table. Lastly, the hotel is a smoke free resort and there were people smoking right by the pool in front of the no smoking sign, there were employees walking right by them and they didn’t say anything. We were truly disappointed with our stay.

    Beach, staff, room and location

Costly for what is offer and limited options in food and drinks

    8GabrielaPosted on: 3-18-2024

The pool area was great! Staff were very polite and happy to help. The beach privacy was great and the area was very comfortable.

The food was a hit or miss. And the draft beer was really bad. Also, the towels you had to borrow for the pool were kind of weird. Usually these type of resorts have a bunch of towels at the pool area where you can grab them and leave the dirty ones. Didn’t like the whole dynamic you had to go through with the towel situation
