Seleccion of food is restringid just one buffet open for dinner Access for specialty restaurants limited one for every 3 nights. I would have like enjoy a cup of fruit in the beach

Needs maintenance, hammock was ripped off. Food was the same everyday, no major change. Lines to get food, it took 30 minutes to get some quesadillas. Lines to check in, took almost one hour standing there, you need more personnel at front desk.

Everything was great the best experience in my life I will come back next year and recommend to my family and friends ilove huatulco the right place to relax and I didn't hear of any violence is perfect to spent time off

Yes I think the customer service is not,enough when people is checking in because they don't have time to take care of the guess that is already there when we have a question we have to wait alot time, that we didn't have

The rooms need remodeling, food is so unhealthy and poor quality drinks.

The food quality, especially dinner buffets, were below my expectations.

Beautiful location with lovely rooms facing the ocean. The staff were kind and friendly. Carlos, Oscar and the activity girls were amazing. The internet worked well.

The swimming pools were all rather shallow. Had to get to the beach super early to claim a spot.

The food was not Horrible , my wife got locked in the bathroom. Toilet did not work. The staff at reception one not very nice. They placed a baby crib in our room. We don¿t have a baby. Will have to ask for toilet paper. T

The food in buffet is good and abundant. The water under the building is perfect for swimming and there are lots of free activities such as shallow snorkel diving, paddling, sailing though I have no chance to play because my husband has dizzy on the boat. The food in restaurants is nice too.

If the waiting time in the restaurant was less than 10 minutes, it would be great. And the van of hotel is too expensive. I spent one-third of it by myself.

Beautiful, modern, clean, variety of things to do & location.

Nothing bad to say at all. This resort willNot disappoint. Huatulco is magical & the people are beautiful. The location is so wellMaintained. Most of Huatulco is preserved as National Parks & they intent to keep it that way. No trash in streets.

The location of the beach and the staff was incredible and accommodating

The pools aren’t heated small and too close to the kids pool. The mixology is terrible. The facility is too small for the amount of people there you cannot get a lounge chair by the beach. The premium package is not worth it on the beach. It’s the exact same lounge chairs as all the guests

The location is amazing. Overall very clean. Food was very good and diverse. The staff serving at the restaurants and the cleaning staff are super nice.

The phone in my room did not work and they never fixed it. The safe was an archaic metal box from the 1930's with the weirdest lock ever, I kid you not. And it did not work either so i had to put my valuables inside my locked suitcase.The staff at the reception could be nicer and more welcoming.

I have enjoyed the people that served and assisted me on my week stay at the Barcelona.Two pools, the Kids pool and the Adult only pee pool. The Adult only pool is actually the bar pool, with that being noted , I have watched how many times people get out of the pool to go to the washroom while drinking all afternoon, there were a couple people that got out to go to the washroom , not many . Take that as you may. I think the ocean is cleaner in which I utilized to swim. I know , not the hotels fault for people disrespecting common things like NOT peeing in the pool. But 2 pools doesn’t quite do it.Second discontent are the restaurants, if you stay 3 nights the hotel gives you 1 Al LaCarte restaurant, so I had only 2 awesome meals. The 5 other nights were a packed buffet, i repeat a single buffet restaurant in which is full from start 6:30 to around 9:30, closes at 10:30. I have waited hungry for approximately 750 people to make it through 1 buffet restaurant, it’s now 2:30 hours waiting to eat. All the Al La Carte restaurants were 1/3 full most nights. This is not the serving staffs fault in which they are attentive to your needs. Its the upper management decisions on which restaurant will be open and etc., like I have said only 1 restaurant buffet for most everyone.I have stayed at the Dreams hotel right next to Barcelos over Christmas and this time spring break at Barcelos, plus I am a well travelled individual that has never seen before only 1 restaurant buffet open in a calibre of hotels like this one.I can see if the resort wasn’t busy, well maybe ok I can see cutting costs. But not very happy customers.If a person would enjoy open restaurants that are Al laCarte open to all, every night, go to Dreams. You get more for your money , Dreams is a solid 4 star, Barcelo is a 3 dim stars due to upper management’s cost cutting . Don’t get me wrong the frontline staff are incredible and when you get an Al laCarte it is very good food.

Staff were very friendly, facilities are old but in good shape and very clean. Loved the adult pool.

Too many stairs to the buffet room off of the lobby. Food was not up to Barcelo standards. We struggled to find anything to our liking at the supper buffets. The choices were very repetitive and looked like yesterday’s leftovers.

The food was good. The coffee was excellent. The personal was very friendly.

The keyword for our stay was "patience". Be patient wating at the restaurant to be seatet. Be patient to clean you feet from the sand at the beach. Too manny people for the facilities. Tne facilities are old. The stay was OK, not bad, not good, just OK wiith little value for the money.

The location is amazing, beautiful beach and the pools were nice. The kids loved the slides etc. The buffets were good and we liked the hotel a lot

They didnt offer drinks around the pool in the morning and with the cost of paying for the all inclusive i would expect to be offered all day long.

If it was crowded, I could see a problem getting a table to eat at the buffet and restaurants.

It's everything you need to have a good rest and to enjoy some days at a nice beach. The beach is very clean and the sand is soft and enjoyable. The pools are nice too, although they may get a bit crowded. The food is good in general, but the food at the Mexican restaurant, Agave, is delicious. The service from the staff Is also great and professional. The amenities are good in general. I did not really miss anything.

WiFi wasn't available in all areas, but in my room and in the lobby it worked fine. There is, however good reception from Telcel, the leading cell phone company in Mexico.

Location and Restaurant service.

The Premium service hostess (Jimena) did not put any effort in explaining anything about the Hotel, services and the premium perks we had. We payed for a Premium Deluxe room for 3 adults, 1 Infant and a baby and we got 2 double beds instead of a queen/king size ones as the pictures suggest. I would also encourage that the spots by the pool could be reserved maybe 2 per family since all of those had stuff on top of them and people not using them most of the time, my wife had to feed our baby sitting on the grass while there were plenty of empty shaded spots but “reserved” by people not using them. There were signs of mold in the bathroom, so a better maintenance of the facilities would be good too.
