Nice rooftop area, nice showers

I loved everything, the staff, the location, the activities. I would love to go back.

I had a private room for 2 nights in this hostel. The room was clean, bed was big, shower was hot and AC worked well. The hostel was well located and easy to reach from the airport with the collectivo for 100 pesos.

The social hour didn't happen when I was there, despite staff saying it would, which was really disappointing, as a solo traveler who picks hostels specifically to meet people. Compared to other hostel stays this was a bit more expensive, but overall it was fine for 2 nights.

The location is good, not on the busy road but still 5 mins from the beach. This place has so much potential it’s just like they don’t really care to make it nice.

The staff did not care about the travellers at all. I stayed there for three nights and doesn’t matter who worked at the reception, they didn’t even bother raising their eyes from their phones when people were entering and leaving. They made you feel like you are doing them a favour by staying there. One day they decided to change my room without telling me anything and when I returned from the beach my room was empty. They just took all my stuff, threw it all together into a plastic bag with my wet towel and threw it ok the floor at the reception. When I got my things bag no one apologized or explained, all my things were stinky and wet.

This isn’t my first Viajero property, and it definitely won’t be my last. I originally booked for one night, ended up extending, and even returned after my first stay.The Puerto Escondido location is ideal - just a short walk from the beach and the main strip filled with restaurants. The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful with all my questions.They organize fun daily activities and have a great happy hour. The coworking space was a standout with strong Starlink Wi-Fi and even an ocean view, which made working a pleasure.Once the restaurant reopened, the food was delicious and well priced. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back again. Shout out to Freddy, Richard, Becca, Denia and Cecilia - You guys were awesome.

The restaurant was initially closed during my stay, but once they brought in a new cook, dinner options were available and that wasn’t a problem. I do wish there was a bit more variety on the menu, especially for lunch. That said, breakfast is served until 2pm, which helps.

Everything, the vibe was good, very social and next to the ocean

The wifi isn't working in the rooms and the AC is working in certain hours.

I had such a great time that I came back! Ceci, Denia, Diego, Andrea, Estaban, Cass, Maya, Gio, Julia, Pato and Yahab, they all made me feel at home!

the beach was close and the bar/restaurant offered a good menu.

the weather was too hot and wet (real feel of 40⁰C), the turned off the AC between 10 am-8pm which made unbelievable stay at the room. the heat in the pool area was also unbearable. there were dressed and no previously showered people getting in the pool. the toilets were dirty.

Everything, comfy clean rooms, good shower pressure, pool, breeze area upstairs with view on the sea. Food nice. Nice cocktails.What stood out was the experience where you literally feel at home thanks to the outstanding staffProps to Ceci, Cass, Andrea, Pato, Esteban, Clara, Madrid, Maya, Jay…..

I put a 10 because it is a detail an extra fan or two at the bar ? is a must

The rooms are very well designed and have great infrastructure especially for an hostel in Mexico and in such remote location. We’ve made different reservations and the hostel staff was so nice letting us stay in our first room and upgrade our stay totally cost free! Really recommended for younger travelers who look for a place with perfect location, young, fun and social atmosphere!

Good to meet others, also yoga classes or workout on some days of the week.

I had a great stay here- the location, vibes and facilities are all ideal. Jay the volunteer is so kind and hospitable, he is the life and soul of the place. Recommend if you are solo and want to feel welcomed.

Lack of air con

Viajero was perfect, I had so much fun! The staff made me feel like friends, Denia, Cecy, Pato, Diego, Cass, Esteban, Jay, Gio, Julia, Gonzalo and amazing Madrid. Everyone made this stay a reason to come back. Thank you!

Wasn't able to shower due to temperature of the water

The facilities and the pool are nice, many activities to meet other travelers. Esteban, Gonza and Madrid were very friendly and helped make our stay very fun!

Beautiful hostel in a great location with a nice swimming pool and a lively bar serving great drinks. The staff is super friendly, especially Esteban, the bartender. The hostel offers an amazing social life and daily activities.it's the perfect blend of chill and party vibes. I truly enjoyed my time here and definitely will come back.

Best hostel in Puerto, Denia, Ceci, Cass and Pato were amazing!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel and would try their other places as well next time. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. You can join their group activities which they offer every day but there is also no pressure if you just want time by yourself which you can have there for sure.
