    Pros +

    • The location was the best! On the beach, close to all our favorite restaurants we could walk to, the vibe of the hotel was awesome, beds were so comfortable, staff was so sweet and helpful with everything we needed, I would definitely stay here again!
    • The property was nice and clean I like that they got security guards 24/7 on the property would totally recommend it to anyone
    • Has an amazing beach access the looks is of a great boutique hotel, but everything else lacks the care towards the guests.

    Cons -

    • Beds are small. I am 183cm and my feet were out of the bed. The pillows were horrible and we couldn´t have nice sleeps. The people that work there that arrive at 7AM talked and laughed right outside the room without caring for our sleep. The bar crew would no come to the beach beds to ask if drinks wanted. They played regeatton all day long and when asked to please play something more relaxing they would not listen and one day the badman had friends over and were allowed to have their own speaker playing music, so we had 2 different sources of music when the guests that actually pay for staying there could not relax. Cat poo on the beach beds and around since they have a couple cats in the premisses, but dunno why the poop would not be taken care of when arriving to the beach beds. REALLY A BAD EXPERIENCE.
    • It's a little pricey but for us it was worth paying the extra
    • The hotel only told me 6 days before that there was some construction work next to the hotel (when it’s clearly been going on for months looking at the type of construction) and this did not allow me to cancel for free even when I asked for an exception: Then when we arrive at our room that I paid extra to have a sea view it is actually view on the pool full of kids screaming and on the other side view on the parking and construction. I asked to change our room but i was asked 200 euros to upgrade. I only booked this suite and paid extra to have the sea view so don’t make the same mistake as me.When I complained and sent a message they did not even answer to me.

It's really a lovely place. At first I was anxious because on road side it looks rustic, but as soon as you step in you're transported to a gorgeous grown up resort style feel. It's very well done with well kept gardens and the beach is right there with beds for use. There is a little beach bar and the food is amazing. The room is better than it looks in the photos. It was easily the best place we could have booked. It's short walk down the beach to the bars and restaurants. Air con was good. Bed was super comfy. Shower was great.

It's a little pricey but for us it was worth paying the extra

Beautiful location on an amazing beach chill and wonderful sunset. The pools are small but nice. The bar and staff there really nice.

A great overall service experience, with very tasteful breakfasts and snacks. The staff when about and beyond! They were able to accommodate us with a late c/out . We definitely will be back . The bar staff are amazing the cocktail are great. They have a massage palapa we made a Swedish massage and it was perfect the therapist was very professional.

Room is big enough and bed comfortable

The fan on the sleeping room is old as it makes sounds and moves from time to time that kept me awakening at different times through the night

    Location, good mattress

Rooms extremely small, open shower really uncomfortable, no pravacy, hard to regulate temperature of water, shower with not a good flow, pool was not clean, no change of towels or sheets.

Omg! I can’t say enough great things about Casa Kuaa honestly. The communication from staff prior to arrival was A+. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. Private pools, private balconies, and a bar on the beach. The staff here is absolutely incredible. Everyone was so so so kind. Plus, kittens running around saying hello was unreal! I would not stay anywhere else in Puerto Escondido. Breakfast and drinks at their bar was delicious as well. Thank you to Jamil and the lady’s at the bar. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. 10/10 recommend to anyone going to PE.

    Zero Complaints, no joke.

Fabulous location and staff were brilliant throughout our stay - we arrived early in the morning and they went out of their way to get our room ready early. There is construction nearby but it didn’t effect our stay and it is common for the area.

    Clean & friendly, nice rooms

The food was poor & overpriced Nowhere other than bedroom to spend time when raining

The location was excellent, walkable to many local restaurants and of course the beach. It was a beautiful area and a beautiful hotel with two small pools and lots of greenery. It had a beautiful view of the ocean. We loved the size and decor of the room we stayed in. Having an induction cooktop, refrigerator with a small freezer, and filtered water, made our stay better. We were able to keep our water cold and cook some meals. The staff were all very kind people and we had only good interactions with all of them. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping our room clean.

We stayed for one week. Our suite was one large open shared area, so we couldn't sleep privately if the other person wanted to be up. The little air conditioning split unit did okay to cool the area of the bed, but it didn't extend to the full suite very well. The king-sized bed was hard and uncomfortable as the mattress sat on a cement base. The seating area was similar in hardness. The room became very bright in the early morning. At around 6 am the room would start to light up since some windows didn't have curtains, and those with curtains did not keep much light out. Our bed faced a window with privacy film on it (no curtains), directly facing a window from another unit with no curtains. That unit kept its light on until the early hours of the morning. So we had darkness in our room for approximately 3-4 hours each night. On top of that, the suite was full of unsealed windows with large gaps, so we had lots of flies and small insects in the room. We could hear sounds from other units, from the pool (we heard conversations, children crying and screaming, etc.), and of course from the major construction (they are building a hotel) across the small street that began around 6:30 am every day except Sunday. We understand that was not the fault of Casa Kuaa, it was just an unfortunate problem that was escalated due to the lack of sealed windows and the close proximity to the construction. We slept very poorly here, unfortunately. Due to these things, we would not return to this location. We came home more sleep deprived than we've ever been, even though we chose what was one of the nicest hotels in the area.

Location was perfect with easy access to the beach and plenty of food options nearby.

    9RogiersPosted on: 7-11-2023

The food and bar choices are limited but the location is great - close to the surf day and evening vibe

The area is in full development not one street that has not building works going on - luckily our rooms were facing the ocean which breaks were louder than the construction workers

Beautiful setting and location. Comfortable and staff were all very helpful

A few things in the room required further maintenance - some doors were not locking and hard to open (assume given the humidity and heat that things rust and break faster, more upkeep is needed). They were quick to fix things when pointed out however

Amazing location. Right next to everything in town. The space itself was super well maintained and clean. The rooms were cleaned every day and the entire place was exceptional.

This place is an absolute jam! It is right on the main streets with all the food and stores. The staff is very willing. It is also right at the beach so the view is beautiful. I cannot recommend this place enough!

    6MichaelPosted on: 6-2-2023

+ very close to the beach and all restaurants+ 2 pools+ nice sunbeds+ new and clean property+ nice cleaning staff

The following points only apply to some rooms, but need to be taken into consideration:- HUGE and very noisy construction site on the opposite that starts 6am and goes all day. Construction seems to continue for the next couple of months- very noisy bar on the opposite of the street that plays loud music until late night- taking this into account our room was not worth its price

Great location right at La Punta beach. The pool and garden furniture. Room with AC and fan, fridge and drinking water refilled daily.

The place doesn't look like the pictures show it. It's quite run down, especially the rooms. We booked "room with terrace" and got a room on the ground floor, facing the pool with all the people and reception, with tiny space at the door with 2 chairs and small table. No terrace, zero privacy. The rooms has no place to put things, no shelf, no table, no chair.. So you cannot unpack. After one short shower, there's water all over the bathroom. The staff don't (or don't want to) speak English. The girl at the reception probably hates her job, since she was always so grumpy, helpless and uninterested. There's a construction going on right across the street, so plenty of dust and noise is coming in.

Amazing ocean view and semi private beach, the room was very clean and the mini fridge was a plus, two pools and lots of areas to lay down to relax, there's a big construction on a property behind the hotel, but our room was in front of the ocean, and the noise was imperceptible.Highly recomendable.
