Cons -
- The first room we stayed in. Had a mold smell. The rooms need remodeling.
- The rooms are incredibly run down - shower was very dirty, lights didn’t work, not soundproof at all. Staff were incredibly rude, and it was incredibly expensive for one of the worst 3 star hotels I have ever been to.
- It took hours until we got our room although it was after 3 pm when we arrived.

cleanliness nice room nice chairs to sit for the view of the sea
I thought the property was on the beach we were away of the beach but we could well see it
staff and location
old buildings old rooms
Setting of club coco's. The beach club was the only positive experience for our stay and even that had some drawbacks i.e dirty loungers and towels.
Rooms desperately in need of modernisation/renovation. Everything was quite dirty, even the pool towels felt like they just got dried between guests. Terrible noise insulation, could hear guests in adjoining rooms snoring all night. Food outrageously overpriced, much better food available nearby.
Restaurant food was not good-buffet only breakfast with limited choicesPool restaurant food-very limited choices and low quality
The pool was great and food and drinks were decent.
Rooms weren’t clean.
The property was clean and the food was amazing. transportation to the two areas of the pool and restaurants was very convenient. security looked after us when I left my room open and making sure guest were behaving. feeling safe as a foreigner is important.
The internet was not working in the room and the music playing at the pool should include more Spanish songs since we are in Mexico.
We liked the cocos beach club the most. The breakfast was not included, I find it expensive and instead of being a buffet breakfast, they serve your food, instead of you choosing it yourself.
the cost/benefit is not good. it is quite pricey for what you get. The bedrooms are quite old. it needs a renovation.
very close to the airport, nice personnel, nice swimming pools.
room wasn’t great, it was ok. had some hair on the floor. not very clean.
the view the sunset and the room was amazing
the hours of the bar woukd be nice till 11better food dejection at dinner and longer hours at beach club would be nice
Lovely hotel, with good facilities. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Had a very relaxing stay. Drinks included was a nice touch. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.
Maybe a little over priced. Buffet was a little expensive for what it was.
Looked after gardens, cleaned regularly, insistence on wearing masks, location, facilities, and drinks included in the package. Helpful staff
The buffet food was average but mostly cold so had to ask for it to be microwaved each time. Gave up after two nights. The special dinner was disappointing and expensive for what it was. We were the only people who took up the offer as we found out by being the only ones in the restaurant all night. The shuttle van from the beach club finished at 18:00 which was too early as being in our seventies was essential to return to the main hotel.
the grounds were well maintained beautiful viewing area and beach was not crowded.
The front desk staff was not welcoming or friendly. They weren’t very forthcoming with details about property. There was no WiFi in rooms only in lobby, this a major inconvenience and when booking this location it is misleading to list WiFi as a perk and not indicate specifically no WiFi in rooms. T.V cable wasn’t working in rooms. Restaurant should have signs instructing guests on how to access plates during buffet. No staff greets you upon entering restaurant guests are left to figure out how seating works. servers at buffet were dismissive insulting, and rude to guests making an honest effort to communicate in Spanish. all around customer service needs improvement and training of staff on basic hospitality industry standards of hotels especially those marketing to international paying customers.
The staff was attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable and the view from the room was great. The Beach club was great and the pool at the Resort was great also
There was no hot water in the mornings. We woke up 2 days in a row and the water temp in the shower was luke warm at best. All the stairs to get to the rooms was unexpected. There were a lot of Ants and ant hills in the Area's where you wanted to sit, ie. The chairs to watch the sunset at the resort and around the grass area at the Coco Beach club.
Location
Food was really bad, cleanliness was really poor (specially during COVID times), staff struggles to correctly put on a mask, beach club well located but with bad service (even had to set up the chairs myself). Very noisy.
No need
Wifi is not good. I understand all the place has bad connection
Staff all put in great effort and care about their jobs.
Rooms are run down and out of date
The beach is amazing.
