Zicatela Beach is not a particularly quiet location at night. It was okay for 2 nights. On the 3rd night there was a bar or club playing very loud techno music right across the street - so loud you could barely hear the TV above it - which went on until 5 a.m.

The pools are nice and location is very good

Waiting for our room. It was after 3 and they were changing shifts and didn’t say a work to us about our room. So different than our first stay there.

The room was perfect for our family of 5 - plenty of space. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!

The entire staff were friendly especially the front desk. The pool was nice to cool off as the ocean waters was too rough to swim.

The AC didn’t work correctly the first night so made it uncomfortable the first night. I was moved to another room the next day and everything was fine. My room was a little small from what I expected but was functional.

All of the staff, especially the older man that helped us with baggage. Very pleasant man, always greeted me and offered help.

There is one spot right outside the restaurant on the floor that is very dangerous. I tripped on it one night and almost went flat on my face (I’m 79). Needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt.

Great location, nice swimming pool, friendly staff, clean, quiet at night. Nice restaurant bar poolside.

They were behind schedule with the daily cleaning and had to ask to get the room cleaned.

The property was clean the staff were super friendly and helpful.

They decided to do repairs in the next room at 8:00 am The beach was not swim able

I enjoy the stay, staff are friendly, pool is amazing, and breakfast was good!

I liked that my room was right off the pool, and it was right across the street from the beach, which was excellent. I thought the pools were great, warm water and one for the kids, which was very good.

Minor room maintained. Lots of exterior noises from discos some nights. Not ideal for handicapped, lots of stairs and uneven surfaces.

Location pretty good for the Zicatela beach, central Puerto Escondido.

The worst thing was as the evening went on a terrible smell of ammonia developed in or outside our bathroom, it was really potent and difficult to spend any time in the bathroom without feeling overwhelmed by it. The hotel was fine just dated really.

We booked the ocean view thinking it would be a good idea, do not book ocean view you’ll have music from all night clubs cranked right up untill 5am every morning, only stay around the pool!

Great value and right on the beach.

Didn't like the idea of wearing a bracelet to identify guests from locals who might wander in for free breakfasts. The breakfasts were adequate, but sometimes cold. Over all tho, it was a great location and facility.

It is located right across from the beach, right in the middle of the action and the night life, yet offers a decent amount of privacy and relaxation, due to its wonderful inner courtyard and pools. The included breakfast was a nice touch and the staff was friendly and helpful.

My room was on the ground floor and I found quite a few tiny bugs inside, including in the bed, which I couldn’t properly identify (maybe dust mites, hopefully not bed bugs and fleas) and which made me nervous.

Excellent location on Zicatela Beach, just across the street from the beach. Very modern hotel, very clean, great maid service. Price is reasonable for the room and location. Free breakfast every day is great. Front desk staff is very attentative, greets you every time you pass by. Great free beach towel for the beach or around their 2 pools. AC in every room is good, needed for hot climate.
