EVERYTHING. Staff amazing. Grounds beyond beautiful and peaceful. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home.Staff and the owner were very efficient.Can't say enough about the hospitality. Very clean.

NO. Have stayed in four different places in Puerto Escondido and this was the best.

An oasis of tranquility in what is already one of the most wonderful settings in Mexico. An extraordinarily welcoming, helpful, and personable staff, a room that exceeded all expectations, and grounds to die for. Strongly recommend!

Great staff, pool, grounds, location. 5 minute walk to many restaurants and beaches relatively nearby. Good hot water too. They are expanding with another 20 units next door in the same style so some noise but it did not really bother us.

A charming and tranquil place. Loved the garden and pool area. Such authentic Mexican character.

Fabulous hotel with beautiful foliage and a lovely pool. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Staff was friendly and professional. Close to restaurants and the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Our 2nd stay and will continue to come back. You are welcomed with a cold wine glass of non-alcohol hibiscus flower drink! The owner was so kind and the staff exceptional. Our room gorgeous as before. The large pool was set in a lush garden. Lots of chaise lounges and tables. We love the Suites La Hacienda and their sweet kitties Niñon and Coco. A few block walk to the Main Street, restaurants, pharmacy and beach a hike down steps.. but worth it!

Loved everything!

Good location and beautiful grounds. The large swimming pool area is nicely landscaped with beautiful native tropical plants. There are many restaurants for all budgets within a 5 - 10 minute walk. The staff are friendly and attentive. They booked our taxi to the airport. Highly recommend staying at this quaint Mexican style hotel.

We booked a suite with a kitchen, which was stocked with coffee, bottled water, paper products and dish soap. However, it would have been nice to have some basics like salt, pepper and oil for cooking.

We stayed for three nights. The property was clean and beautiful. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and beaches. Friendly staff!

Excellent location with lots of great restaurants in walking distance! Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool area and plenty of sun loungers. The staff, especially Luis, were exceptionally helpful and went beyond to accommodate my husband's disability. We were able to use our Roku, always a plus. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was tucked away at the back of the building, and felt a little cramped. Our fault for not requesting an ADA compliant room ahead of time. The shower door was very noisy and would likely be an easy fix with some oil. These were minor issues though.

The location was actually better than I expected. Very easy walk to groceries and restaurants. Breakfast was reasonably priced and "home cooked" Staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool are gorgeous.

We expected stairs, but they were a lot for some in our group. My room #19 would benefit from some blinds on the kitchen windows. the beds in the kitchen could be replaced with 2 hide a beds.

Beautifully landscaped, rooms are quaint and historic, stocked with everything you may need to cook.Pool and Bar wonderful! We are sorry to be here for only one night. The host Luis was very accommodating! We’ll come again.

The location is perfect, you can rent a motorcycle and meet beaches around there. The room, wow, beautiful. The staff is so nice and kind. When we arrive, they bring us a cold beverage.

The room was exactly like in the pictures. Room and common areas were clean, and there are a a lot of sunbeds for all guests.Staff is kind and ready to help, we also had our clothes washed, for an extra fee.The pool area is really nice, either just to swim, or to chill at night as well.There is no restaurant available on site, but this was not an issue.

The only issue, was on the second night, where the room next door had their AC on, and the AC box (if that's the name) was next to our room, so we could hear the noise of the box. There is also a fountain in the common area next to our door, that i guess they forgot on at night, so these 2 made it difficult to sleep. İt was all solved with earplugs:)

The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was beautifully maintained and the rooms were kept very clean. The pool was bigger than I had expected. The location was great. Easy walk to great cafes, restaurants and to a lovely beach - Carrizalillo

everything was great. friendly staff and the overall feel of the place was really nice. there was so much greenery everywhere that it made you feel like a tropical paradise

there were alot of bugs in the room, i had to swipe off a couple of large ants while laying in bed and something bit my leg while i was sleeping. large ants and even wasps got into the room

The property is beautiful and well kept. The pools isNice. The rooms were spacious and with above average decor. However, cockroaches are unacceptable and we saw quite a few in both rooms so that was very disappointed.

The common areas were very well kept.

Very beautiful! Lovely service. Great vibes! We had the suite and it wasBasically an apartment! It was huge! Perfect for a family with kids.

So pretty: full of plants, flowers, character, bit of mystery. Felt like I was in a Mexican novel. Loved the clean pool, the friendly staff, the spaciousness and furniture of the rooms. Didn’t want to leave!

I didn’t really like the European-like shower doors that dont seal off the shower area completely. Wishes the water got a bit hotter. Not a deal-breaker though.
