Four Points by Sheraton Galerias Monterrey

For the price. It was a great deal. I booked the rooms the night before and it was a great location.

The pool was closed and the breakfast area was bleak.

Very convenient. I walked across the the Galleria Mall and restraunts are next door to each side. Didnt have to leave hotel to get taxi.

The shower head was busted so it was spilling water out the side. Not a big deal though.

The staff is great, the room is too. I really love the proximity to great restaurants and the mountain view. I also appreciate they are a smoke free hotel!

The bathroom floor seemed less than clean, and the air came on so loud it woke me up, as I was falling asleep. I finally fell asleep, but it took longer than normal.

Staff very helpful. Access to gallerias mall was easy. Gave water freely.

Air conditioner/heating unit so loud it would wake me up when it cycled on. No little store inside with basic necessities. One ice machine for all the hotel.

No breakfast and charged for parking

The hotel was well located, very close to Hospital Universitario, my work destination during the visit.

The hotel is very well located. It appears to be an older property, but it is clean and still comfortable. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, although you can ask for room service until 10 pm, the restaurant opens for breakfast only, which is quite good. For lunch and dinner, we had to go out, and while there are several restaurants within walking distance, it was still somewhat inconvenient.In my room, the air conditioner was quite noisy when it started, so I had to set the temperature a bit higher to prevent it from turning on frequently.The rooms are provided with only two small bottles of water, which is insufficient given that Monterrey is usually very hot for most of the year.The price per night is high considering all inconveniences commented above.

Four Points Galerias Mty was a great stay in a perfect location. I actually booked this location by accident and usually stay closer to Linda Vista but glad I kept the reservation. Parking was good with actual parking for a full size truck which is not common in Mty. Hotel is walking distance to the Galleria and several great restaurants all in private parking lots as well. I was on the 6th floor this stay and view nice overlooking the galleria. Breakfast was above average, rooms actually clean, decent beds with newer pillows. Front staff was great, friendly, and bilingual which was a plus. My wife is from Mty so we visit family here often so I can say I have seen the great and the horrible for hotels here. I have nothing bad to say about this one and I will be staying again.

The indoor pool closes at 10pm. It would be nice if the pool area was open later.

Some maintenance needed

The staff, the cleanliness, the breakfast, location, the beds were super comfortable. Everything was wonderful.

That you had to put your room card to have the ac turn on. If you weren’t inside the ac was not running.

The area was a good area, most of the staff were kind and detailed. It could be cleaner. There was stains by the trash, when we first came in and after the cleaning crew came by too but they were very kind. The only problem w the staff was that Felipe who delivered the food with room service was very rude, even my mom listened over the phone how he was rude and firm and loud. Also in check in the guy who checked us in didn't specify where the elevators were and he was very short with the check in and felt like he could have done better and bc of that we missed a lot of info and we got lost when we were dismissed with the check in. The price also given here even after the taxes is incorrect, they charged me about $80 more.but it was too late to do anything about it. He said it was extra fees and no it wasnt the taxes. Over all it was a nice stay. The view of the Mountains was beautiful and would stay again.

The extra money we had to pay in fees not stated anywhere but when we got there. The rude staff member in room services, Felipe. That the person who checked us in was very short in the check in and I felt like he left out a lot of info. Also the cleaning crew didn't change the covers cause they were dirty from food I accidentally spilled and they just arranged the blanket differently but I noticed.

The hotel is classified at booking.com with 5 stars.Upon arrival, my wife and I noticed a remarkable absence of service, as well as notably aged installations. Asking for help, we were told this hotel to be a 3-star hotel. We reviewed the hotel room and confirmed that this hotel indeed does not comply by far with any 5-start rating. We talked to the hotel staff who were accommodating and allowed us to cancel our reservation with immediate effect. The reservation fee, a credit card block at the FULL AMOUNT of the planned stay was SUPPOSEDLY liberated. When the amount still appeared on my credit card around 30/31 March I asked for help with booking.com. A staff called the hotel and was told the same story, namely that the money has been liberated.The event in the hotel happened on 26 March. Today, 10 April, my credit card still shows the full amount for a hotel stay that NEVER HAPPENED.My bank insists that the amount has never been liberated. Legal steps against the hotel are under preparation. My recommendation: Stay away from this hotel!
