This hostel honestly felt like a home away from home. I stayed in the female dorm and it was perfect. I met some amazing people at this hostel! The staff were so lovely, and they made the environment very welcoming and social. Lots of events encouraging travellers to get to know each other, etc.! Such a lovely rooftop terrace!

I wish the female dorm locked properly, but it wasn’t a big deal! I felt super safe and comfy at this hostel. I wish there were more hooks or maybe some shelves in the showers. Other than these little things, no complaints!

I asked to leave a bags overnight in storage, to rub the receptionist I asked agreed; when I came back in the morning for my bag, a different receptionist working pressed me about leaving my bag overnight, saying that’s not a service they provide. I apologized, to which she repeated that it was not ok, which made for an awkward interaction and left me feeling unwelcome!

The staff are friendly, accommodating and super fun to hang out with. Beautiful common area, great wifi.

Cosy and clean room in a great spacious environment with pool, lounge, terrace and balcony. Perfect property to build a hostel on.

Wi-fi was very choppy at times and the private wi-fi in the room was not so private/exclusive as one would think, no difference to the other.

The owner of the hostel is one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was fantastic . The facilities are great and the hostel is kept clean.

Great welcoming hostel in a good central location, easy walking distance to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Very friendly staff and lots of activities to join if you want. I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for fun, affordable accommodation!

The volunteers were incredibly friendly and organized some activities for guests. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen was organized. Everyone respected the policy of no noise after 11 pm in common areas. I stayed during Christmas and the hostal was kind enough to gift chocolates to guests and organize a potluck, it was very nice and delicous!

The wifi was not very good and there was no a/c in the room so it got very hot at night.

Stuff is the soul of this place for sure Quiet calm area but still 5 minutes walk to everything you need in a city Actually you’ll get everything you want - just be a bright person !

Of course I hate to leave. Never do that mistake to book for a short term if you can stay for longer Stayulita Amazing surf hostel ❤️

Great location and super kind volunteers and I enjoyed the women's only dorm. I would stay again.

I really like having curtains on the dorm beds - these dorms don't have them. An easy fix that would make a big difference. I used my towel. There are many signs about rules - One sign in the kitchen says to smoke in the main outside area or the area outside the dorms. then the area outside the dorms has a no smoking sign. All the signs threaten fines and are confusing and a bit intimidating.... I don't even smoke and was worried hahah

Beds are hard in the women’s dorm. Lumpy pillows. The music is pretty loud in the common area.

The bed was horribly hardThe sheets were stain and we ask for replace, they were also stain.Fix these two, and on a regular date(not new year), i would give a high score.

Cathy the manager. I was so sick in the middle of the night and rang the bell desk. It took her a while to come out and quickly angrily asked me if I knew what time it was. I told her I was very sick and needed to go to emergency. She said "there are no doctors here " and went back to bed! I found out later that there is a hospital down the road. She could have brought to herself some good liabilities. I do not feel her mental state is suitable for a humane environment. The volunteer girl told me there is an emergency hospital down the street. I checked out the day after.

The Hostel is on great spot in town. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Spacious relaxing area around the pool and up stairs. Also fun program during the days.

Wifi was only available in the common areas, not in the rooms.

The mattress was a bit hard, but ok for a short stay. I love the casualness of the kitchenette area, but feel that some of the old plastic plates should be replaced with non plastic ones. Some of the pans were old as well. I feel like an outdoor street light is also needed.
