I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and there were many families, which made the place feel warm and welcoming.The included breakfast was definitely a highlight, absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety and everything very fresh.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and great service. I would definitely stay here again!

The pillows were uncomfortable, too small and too firm for my preference.The shower water was nicely hot, but the showerhead seemed partially clogged, which affected the water flow.My room had a connecting door to another room. Although useful for larger families, it made me feel a bit insecure and worried about possible noise coming through, especially since I was traveling with a child.Overall, it was a good stay, but with a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

The room was smallish but very comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly. There is an excellent restaurant next door, too (Rincon Espanol).

The power kept going out, including the Internet. I thought it was priced a bit high. Not crazy, but just a bit high.

The peace in the environment

The pool was extremely hot and the lack of information in the check inn.

The attention of the staff and their willingness to accommodate my requests. The hotel looks small in the photos but it doesn’t feel like it when you’re there, everything is well thought out. The decor on the room that I requested was more than what I imagined.

The last morning I was to go breakfast and the gardeners were watering and my entrance to my room was all wet and somewhat dangerous. When I returned from Breakfast my entry way was in direct range of the sprinklers and even worse when I finally left. My guess is they didn't know someone was in that room.

Very comfy

I came back from an event approximately at 2 AM and my room didn’t have water. I couldn’t wash my face nor my teeth with water from the sink. Also I wasn’t told before or upon arrival that I couldn’t have any beverages that weren’t sold in the hotel. I looked at the beverages menu and they didn’t have the wine I liked so I went and bought one to a store near the hotel. It was until I was sitting in the pool, when they told me they could charge me $400 MXN just for drinking something they didn’t sell. I told them they didn’t have that wine in their menu, and that nobody told me about that rule so I wouldn’t pay that but I had to stop drinking my wine.

The staff were lovely, the amenities (grounds, pool, games room, workout area) were excellent. The room itself was nice.

No hot water in our room, window didn't close, remote for the AC didn't work and was a bit remote.

Wifi didn’t work - incorrect password. TV didn’t work properly. Restaurant & Bar were closed during our visit. Free breakfast didn’t begin until 9 & that was too late for us to go explore Ajijic. Pool wasn’t open in the morning.

Nice size room and very quiet. While checking in, the young lady was very professional and walked me to my room which after seeing the layout of the property may have been difficult to find without assistance.

The wifi was terrible. I had many thing to do and the signal went up and down which was very frustrating. You would think with an upgrade of their standard room the reception would have been better. In the morning when trying to shower, it to over 5 minutes to flow hot water. I thought it wasn't coming and gave up waiting and started a cold shower. Half way through it finally kicked in. Lastly, while having covered parking, it would have been kind of them to inform you when you park that your car will be attacked by birds and they will leave poop - disgusting! I had to spend time before leaving cleaning off my car before it would ruin my paint.

It had a parking lot.

we were lied to. the description claimed that we purchased a balcony room and there was no balcony. the internet didn’t work either. we left immediately after we moved in.

I like that breakfast was provided. It was strange that some days it was with a menu and they charged extra for everything and then some days it was a buffet. The hotel is very calm and relaxing. The cleaning lady was amazing, she was very attentive, fast and nice. Parking is available.

The lights in the bathroom were very dimmed and not strong enough. Taxis take a while to get to the hotel (~35 min), and some hotels provide transportation services (for extra money), which seems to be a good solution. Wi-Fi is horrible, which seems to be a problem all over town, so it is not specific to the hotel but worth mentioning.
