Friendly staff very rustic close to main places you wanna visit no issue coming in late at nite always someone at the door food super close and yummy oh and cheap

location according to locals not safe but everyone is super friendly and it super close to main locations you want to vist the issue for me no ac and it's being remodeled so lots of noise and beds super hard other then that okay

The room itself felt spacious compared to other options in the area. I got to see another room and it was even nicer in its setup than the first with a private patio area. The staff were friendly, we didn't talk a lot but all our interactions went well.

#1 The internet connection is terrible. It cuts out often, is slow, and it has spotty reception depending on where you are in your living area. The other problem is location. During the day it is centrally located in an area with blocks and blocks of shopping. For the person looking for infinite little shops to see it's great, but at night there isn't anything available like food or entertainment. There will be trash everywhere and it will not feel safe. More importantly if you do walk a few blocks to the areas that are still open, the police will stop you, search you for no reason, and say you will go to jail unless you pay a fine on the spot.

When I got to the hotel I told the receptionist that I had a reserve for the 2 days I was going to stay. I wanted to pay with my credit card as it stated I could pay with card once I arrive to hotel. The receptionist was rude and said I can't pay with card as their system was down. I had to pay in cash and I didn't have any. She didn't seem to care so I had to go and find a way to pay for my stay

The hotel provided a clean, comfortable, and peaceful stay. The manager was kind enough to help us solve a particular issue, and we are so grateful for it. Thank you!

What I like about this place is the private parking only

The room smell and it's small. There's no AC remote. The shower is too high and the shower head is broken because the water is all over the place. The water pressure is very weak

Super good value for money. The hotel is clean and nicely refurbished, with new mattress and clean towels and bedding. The entrance is not very appealing and made it look a bit sketchy.It is positioned 2 blocks away from the historical center.

Great location close to the centre. Neighbourhood feels a little sketchy after dark but is lively during the day. Excellent value for money and relatively clean, spatious room with small courtyard.

Unfortunately I was bitten by bedbugs while staying here, so decided to move to another hotel.

The room was clean and reasonably bright. The bed was comfortable, I liked the courtyard and the feel within the walls of the hotel. Outside, it was an orange wall along a typical urban bario street.

The white sheets although clean, had mild stains and were worn with the odd hole. The pillows had a faint smell and could have done with replacement. Although I felt safe enough in the day, I was on alert when it was dark approaching the hotel while walking back from the historic centre. Hotel Gallo is a 15 minute walk through dense urban Guadalajara. That said, I was never harassed or felt in danger. I was just an easy to spot white tourist amongst the people of Guadalajara going about there day.

The hotel is modern and super clean, fresh bedsheets, great maintenance, but the staff at the front dest doesn't speak any English, the first lady wasn't helpful at all, my first room didn't have wifi and she wasn't even trying to make things easy. It's a shame that such nice place with unhelpful front desk staff.

Noise. Crying babies. Loud music. Aggressive and mean staff. STAY AWAY

The location was great. Parking was fine and safe for being in city center and the price was really good. AC was working.

Well first of all it was way too noisy. People were taling pretty much the whole nigh and phone was ringing somwhere in the main area for the whole night. The room wasn''t clean. Sheets were changed after tge last guest but it was bread crumbs under the sheet! The floor definitely wasn't cleaned too. They were doing some renovation too but the noise wasn't related to the renovation

- Toilet only flushes sometimes so your shit piles up for a few hours untill your able to flush- Black mold in the bathroom- Hotel entrance and common area is full of construction equipment- Construction work is going on all day- The lady behind the counter on our check in day was very rude and listened to music in the night that we could hear in the hotelroom- False advisertisement -> designated smoking area is not there- Balcony is a hallway not a real balcony- Wifi is bad- The hallway light shines through the curtains at nightI known this is a budget hotel but there are cheaper hotels than this, we thought this one would be slightly better because it's a bit more expensive but it wasnt. Do not recommend.

Good price. Good AC, but it's set to a certain temperature and cannot be adjusted; only shut off.

Not the best area, so just make sure you have taxis booked ahead to wait for you. Wasn't the cleanest. Shower pressure was low. Spotty wifi.
