    Cons -

    • The pool was ice cold, and the Jacuzzi was filled with litte kids. Screaming Drunk guest in the dining room. I had to go eat in the patio where it was very cold
    • The owners have failed to keep the rooms updated and in repair. The safe didn't work, there was no plunger in the sink ( allowing sewer gas into the room so we had to keep a plastic bag covering it) and the shower head sprayed water on the marble floor ma
    • They had fans in the room they said we couldn¿t use the A/C because they did t work.

Beautiful grounds and restaurant personnel were very gracious.

Access to restaurants, shops, public transportation was severely limited. Cobblestone streets may look pretty but are not easy to navigate. Clerk at the desk denied being able to print out boarding passes but had done so earlier with other guests.

The room was a nice double bed room with hot showers.

There wasn't heat in the hotel. Extra blankets didn't help. Temperatures were between 47-65 degrees F. After day 3, I had to ask if they had a space heater. They found one but I was told to wait while they knew if it worked. They didn't want me hanging around the lobby. So I went back to my room and waited.... Hours later I went back to the lobby. There was someone new and she had no idea what I was talking about. I told her they put the heater under the counter. She looked and said "this". Yes, thank you. It was 800watts better than nothing. This hotel is in the back of a development. Which means there isn't any nearby. A car is required. No taxi standing by. Cobblestone streets and sidewalks make it difficult to walk.

The hotel is outdated. Staff didn’t acknowledge guests. They rather be on their phones.

The views right on the lake are stupendous! There are two pools on the property overlooking the lake which are beautiful. The grounds are lovely, with mature trees and landscaping. There seemed to be plenty of parking, and the layout of the hotel and architecture allowed for an expansive feeling. The hotel is located in a nice residential neighborhood.

The room was large and had pretty views, however, the screens on the sliding glass doors had holes and rips in them allowing mosquitos to enter. We hated the plastic coverings on the mattress! The drapes in the room were stained and would only close by manually pulling on them.

    Quiet and beautiful

The restaurant for dinner poor service and guide, too long to attend and took too long for such a simple order

This is our go to hotel in Ajijic having stayed there at least 5 times before.

When I booked there wasn't a lake room available so I asked if one became available could we have it. The response was yes. I asked again at check in to be told none were available. During our 12 night stay the hotel was really empty and it was obvious that lake view rooms were empty. Why did they lie to us, so disappointing. Also, maintenance seems to be lacking with broken paving slabs etc. and a lack of care in general.

The resort did not have a functioning restaurant, their chef was off. Our room was full of bugs which some I understand because it is Mexico but this was bad. We have pictures. Overall only good thing was where the place was. I wish we could get either money back or a discount. really not worth a visit at all.

    Location and facility

Food. Limited options and expensive menu. Lack of food options being in Chapala is not good

Very clean rooms and nice hotel staff. One of the pools was very nice to use.

The restaurant prices are way too high. We had to wait 45-60 min to receive our food and it wasn’t even right. The other pool was completely empty due to the cold water which made the other pool a bit crowded. Kids were running around the hotel at 11:30pm screaming and again at 7:30am.
