    Pros +

    • Location and character. This is an old building right downtown in the middle of everything that happens in el centro. Did not figure out the original purpose of the building but has been converted to a hotel without destroying the original character.
    • Interesting building. Not sure what it was before being turned into a hotel. Staff are fantastic. Excellent.value. Quiet room partly because there was no heat or AC. Plenty of well placed plugins. Very clean even though old.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • the management was rude, the water in the room was completely off. It would, either, be real hot, or really cold. Hot to the point that it burned, and cold to the point that it was icy cold while taking a shower.
    • Inner room had no window to the outside. Outer room windows had gaps and needed some maintenance.
    • No window in the room. No temperature control. Had an interior room heated/cooled by a vent into the adjacent hallway.

The service is great, staff on the hotel is always nice and welcoming. All requests were fulfilled completely.

The room was a bit humid and dark.

    Location was great!

Street parking and although we were paid the police gave us a ticket and took our liscenece plate. Be careful of parking!

It’s well located, staff was willing to help us.

On arrival I was charged more than the quote from booking, we made the calculations manually and after confirming that the quote was correct they still charged me more. On the first day the toilet flooded the room. We were given a smaller room than the one I booked.

I thought it was overpriced. The hotel said it had a/c, bath, breakfast so it looked as though breakfast was included but we had to pay.

    central location, very clean

My room was very small and had no windows to the outside

    9GregPosted on: 4-23-2024

Excellent location and a great price.

Access to my room was through the garage. It would not be difficult to put in a wall between the garage and make a hallway from the main hall to the back rooms. It would be much less industrial that way. The sliding door to the room would not stay locked. If anybody had climbed over the railing from another room, they could’ve easily opened the door. A simple fix would be to put a dowel at the base of the door in the track so that the window could only open a few inches , and nobody could climb through. Also, the retracting mechanism on the blinds would not work.

Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Location was superb.

Not many amenities (for 4 stars), one room had no window and breakfast was tasty, but not that extensive.

    9GuidoPosted on: 7-28-2023

Nice in the city center all close by

We had a room at the Main Street, bit noisy with traffic and cathedral bell

    2JacobPosted on: 5-31-2023

Close to the downtown area. The cathedral is worth a visit.

The reception staff was unfriendly and not helpful. The breakfast was TERRIBLE to say the least. Our room was on the street and it was terribly noisy into the night with lots of noise up to 3:30 AM. If we were not overly tired, we would probably have slept very little at all.

How can a hotel seriously offer a closed room with no windows?? Offered another room wih tiny window to breakfast room Refused the rooms and got no cancellation ?

    Rooms with windows??

We stayed in Tula to see the archeological site, which was breathtaking. The hotel's location was perfect. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable beds and good breakfast. The hotel is located right in the historic center...fun place to walk around and have dinner. A great value!

Delicious breakfast, very kind and helpful staff. The whole building looks beautiful.

Rooms are a little bit small, tight.
