Located 11 miles from Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park and 5 minutes from downtown Taxco De Alarcon, this hotel features an outdoor pool, Mexican restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at Posada De La Mision are uniquely decorated and have tiled floors. Each includes cable TV, a seating area and a telephone. Many offer a terrace with city or pool views. Guests at Posada are provided with a daily American breakfast and can also enjoy a meal at El Mural Restaurant. La Bodega features live piano music and La Pachanga is an on site nightclub. - The mountain view from my room is very impressive.
- The 'old mission' architecture was sumptuous, the view from the room stunning, the Juan O'Gorman rock mural beside the elegant pool was an unforgettable delight. Although it's mid-December, I swan in the heated pool and enjoyed immensely the hot tub.
Cons -
- No drinking water bottle in the room
- The water pressure was low, the hot water remained 'on' all night as the faucet stuck, the shower had only cold water, and although my room was on a hillside overlooking Taxco and complete with cafe table and chairs, noise from the distant city prevailed
