    Pros +

    • The place was beautiful, the room was amazing and had a great balcony. Very safe and within walking distance to almost everything. Great space.
    • Nice warm interior and were nice staff
    • It was very near where we were going for a Xmas event. It’s comfortable, good value and the staff/owners are helpful and friendly.

    Cons -

    • My only complaint is that the wifi was unrealiable and I use wifi to maintain communication with my home while vacationing as well as using to find more information to make informative decisions about my day.
    • It was not clear that the room didn’t have a private bathroom.
    • The shared bathroom (the bathroom is fine but sharing…). OK but not ideal.

Cozy family place. Welcoming! Heart of Coyoacan, easy to get to places in the neighborhood.

A bit far from the historic Centre.

The location is very quiet and very close to Coyoacán square, as well as to importan avenues. There are staff available all times to help you.

It's a little difficult to find the house because there is no a big sign where it's located and some houses on the same street have similar design

Nice welcoming people who staff the hotel, clean facilities and I appreciate that there is a kitchen that is available. They also provide coffee which I really appreciated. My room was very clean and although small, comfortable. I liked the location too. It was quiet and peaceful but not far from the center of Coyoacán.

My room was on the small side but that wasn’t a big deal because it was just me and there are common spaces.

    cleanliness was good.

The staff greeted us kindly, but never introduced themselves by name, so it created a distant approach. I as shown the kitchen but they asked my friend to wait in the living room, which I though was awkward, also they didn't explain that they had water pitchers that we could take into our room, until I asked for some water the next day. Small things can make a big difference in feeling welcomed. Overall it was a good stay.

Excellent location with great walkability. Friendly staff. Easy check in. Comfortable room.

You can hear people in common areas and mornings were a little loud.

the staff was super friendly! i had a 13 hour bus journey behind me and was totally exhausted. the staff made it so that i could get to my room as quickly as possible. in general they were very accommodating. Thank you very much!

The property itself is a hidden gem. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, with all the comforts you'd expect. The rooftop was a real highlight - it’s a peaceful oasis, making it the perfect spot to relax with a coffee or read a book. Would definitely recommend!

What a lovely property and a great short-stay in the historical area of Coyoacán. Friendly staff, beautiful interior, and surroundings. Felt right at home and I was accommodated without question for early check-in/late check-out.

Nothing sticks out as a big negative with the property. Perhaps for some folks, a bit far from the historical centre and market of Coyoacán, but that wasn't an issue for me walking 15-20 minutes or taking a minibus.

The location is great, and very comfy beds. Very friendly staff, water filter with good quality drinking water.

The sink in the bathroom was clogged and not working well. The 2nd night there was a lot of loud music from the next street, I was told on Thursdays there is a jazz club playing til 11pm and then there was some celebration in the neighborhood and they played music til 9am the next Day all night long- but was told it was only bc of this special occasion.

In general I liked La Casita de Coyoacan. The staff is friendly and the area is amazing.

Unfortunately the internet is bad, its not very clean, the water pressure is so little that it is almost impossible to take a shower (especially when others are taking a shower at the same time). The towels were smelly and one day even the toilet paper was not refilled. My friend paid USD 200 more and had an even worse room. The place is okay but the very good ratings are definately too high.

ran by a very helpful family. good location, close to the centre of Coyoacan but far away enough to be outside the noise

Bright colorful house with interesting decor, everything clean and in proper working order.Accessibility was easy as well.Room was a good size.Sheets and towels were good.

Bed was a bit too narrow

Super convenient location to all of Coyoacan. Lively welcoming staff and felt like home in middle of a huge city.

The location was wonderful, the owners were so kind, the house was beautifully decorated and everything about the home was exceptionally comfortable! Bonus: the friendly pet dog was adorable :)

We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be friendly and helpful. The house is a bit of a labyrinth and has some nice shared spaces for all guests to use - especially the roof terrace. There are shops, cafes and restaurants nearby but it's definitely not in the center of Coyoacan, which is an almost 20min walk away. It takes a while to get into the historic center of the city from here (CDMX is a huge place!) which seemed a fairly doable journey by public transport - mainly bus as there isnt a metro nearby - but we opted for the comfort of uber instead as it was so cheap and we weren't well. One of us had food poisoning during our stay here while the other was recovering from a recent bout.

We found the room quite small for two people and the storage space was limited (two coat hangers and nowhere to hang towels to dry). the shared bathroom wasn't ideal given the food poisoning but we managed fine in the end. There were also some small glass roof tiles that let in quite a lot of light as soon as the sun was up which might be a problem for some.

Nice, clean and quiet accommodation. Staff are friendly, it has a shared kitchen with free filtered/drinking water and coffee. Close to a tram stop which was super convenient for getting into the city, main area of Coyoacán a 15min walk away. Recommend Dona Simona for a delicious breakfast nearby.
