Pros +
- Location is great. The rest, not so much.
- Superb location, peaceful, quiet area. Walking time to Metro station: 5 mins, Metrobus: 2 mins, grocery store: 10 mins, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars & food carts: 5-15 mins. Very helpful staff despite my mal Espaniol (thank you Hotel employee)
- They provided good-quality coffee in the room with a nice coffee machine.
Cons -
- Check-in was bungled; we were not able to get into our room quickly. Sheets were stained. Towels were tattered. To exit the building, you have to find a green button behind the "hotel" desk which is unattended. Good thing there wasn't an emergency!
- Kitchenette designed for VERY tall people. The counter almost came to my chest level (I am 155cm/5'2" tall). I could only reach the lowest shelves of the cabinets (to which I got all the tableware moved for safe easy access). Had to be very careful.
- I didn't like that they billed me for keeping my luggage even though it appears as a "facility" of the hotel. I had to use an external luggage manager to have it stored (it wasn't cheap either). The breakfast service was very uncomfortable to use, so in the end we didn't use it and got breakfast somewhere else.

breakfast was basic serve yourself, with bread for toaster, jam (marmelade) choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, coffee - perfecrly satisfactory.
Good location, good staff and fully equipped kitchen
No hot water in kitchen and basins. Difficult for kids as Tv was not working and lift was not well. The sofa bed was not of good quality
Location!
Various broken items; toilet seat, front door, etc
We liked the location in the neighbourhood, on a quiet street. The room size was decent.
We paid for “breakfast included”; the breakfast area was a mess, dirty dishes in the sink, no bread, no juice, no yogurt . There were just two types of cereal, and milk that was off. It advertises a patio area, which was a broken umbrella, with property towels drying on the chairs. Not inviting. I expressed my concerns via WhatsApp to the owner, who promptly yelled at her staff in front of us when in the kitchen area, but didn’t acknowledge us or our complaints at all. In defence of the workers, they were trying their best.
Friendly staff, cleanliness
Shower parts should be replaced
The location was great. Close to many restaurants, cafes, etc. Their staff communicates well, so after-hours check-in was easy.
Kitchen amenities were barely adequate, such as coffee maker and coffee. Their "breakfast" is non existent. A few stale breads and oatmeal. Not sure how long that has been out, so didn't want to attempt to eat it. Shower head needs to be replaced - comes out like a water hose. I dont think their safe works. Staff gave me a key and I still had so much trouble with it. Fortunately, I felt safe enough with my belongings there with their staff.
Close to a LOT of great things. Easy to get in and out.
This is not a “did not like” - just more a suggestion: consider putting a different cord management power strip under the TV as there are many that would keep it neater. Also fix lock and maybe put screen on patio door. Nothing that would keep me from rebooking - just suggestions!
The location was the best and very safe, just in the middle of everything, few steps from every place someone would want to visit. The rooms had nice design and they were very spacious with a living room and a master bedroom. The bed is one of the best I’ve ever slept on, super comfy and big.
The property advertises high speed internet but they could definitely do better. The internet connection was very unstable, some moments the speed was around 100mbps and others we would get disconnected or the speed would be around 2-3mbps. Definitely not possible to work remotely in peace. The owner said that the first day someone came to check, but I don’t think that was true, since the issues continued. As of November 2025, there is heavy construction on the building next to the property, and the noise is unbearable. Initially we were in Suite 9 in the second floor with a window and view at the backyard where this building was. The drilling was like they were drilling on our wall, they woke us up and was impossible to work. We asked the owner to move us to another room and initially refused by saying the property is full. Then I had to threaten by contacting booking and they moved us to Suite 2 on the first floor with a window/view on the street. The noise from the construction was lower but still there. However, there was no isolation from the noise on the street, you could literally hear conversations from the people on the street. They could do a better job with newer windows. The internet connection was a bit better I think. The second room had better quality towels (in the first one were old and thin), and also the toilet flush was difficult to operate in the first room. Both rooms had an issue with hot water, it was never hot enough, and a bit difficult to control. However it was better in the second room. Lastly, in the second room although the bed was also great, the sheets were very old and should be thrown away, not used in a hotel.
Perfect location! Short walk to the parks, metro stations, shops and restaurants. There are so many panaderías nearby. I feel very safe walking around.
The palace could use a little update.
It was spacious, clean, and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they provided complimentary water bottles and coffee. We didn’t use it but there was a lobby with sofa and complimentary fruit and toast/ peanut butter and jam available. There was a nice little bookcase/library. The King size bed was as described and comfortable. Overall a very pleasant stay despite my son becoming sick.
Because my son became sick shortly upon arrival and for the majority of our stay, we were there a lot more than anticipated. This meant using the WiFi and being on the pull out sofa much more than we would have otherwise. The WiFI worked but was spotty and dropped frequently and was much weaker in the bedroom. The pull out sofa had a foam topper but the bars from the frame were still very hard and so sleeping on it was somewhat uncomfortable.
The staff was really kind and helpful
There were dead mosquitos on the ceiling and The largest crusty booger I’ve ever seen on the wall. The sliding door to the terrace didn’t lock which felt unsafe.
Location was great
The bed sheets were stained, water temperature was either boiling hot or freezing cold.On the room there was a official internal rules description, this mentioned that the checkout was at 12. We exited then, and got charged 500 pesos for late checkout because on Booking it mentioned 11. This was unacceptable, as they had contradictory information and we had to pay for it, when they should clearly fix it. Really dissapointed.
The location is great- on a quite street in the middle of Roma Norte which is one of the safest and most walkable areas of CDMX.
We stayed at this hotel last year and had a very different experience. Unfortunately, this year was disappointing. There is no longer staff on-site overnight (or after 8 pm), and the breakfast, which used to be freshly prepared and warm, has been reduced to fruit and cereal. We booked a room for four people but were provided only two towels and a single small bar of soap (no hairdryer , conditioner, or lotion). Overall, there are better-value hotels in the area that offer more attentive service.
Uhm, I found fruit (bananas) only once. I got coffee 2X. There were jars of cereal available and a jar of opened peanut butter and some crackers. So, I'd advise against expecting "breakfast". There are many places to eat nearby. The customer service was very good. Location was very good.
I didn't like that "breakfast" was advertised, but there was no real breakfast. The place was a little noisy, but it is near a main street and it is a Mexican hotel.
Great location, near all Roma Norte and Condesa. Plenty of room for 3 and some to spare.
Can be a little loud even at night time, but comes with the location.
Friendly staff, great location, big bed, and quiet room.
Better towels would be nice.
i liked the location a lot! it was very central and walkable to all of roma, condesa and juárez. super close to public transportation and very easy to find ubers/didis. my superior studio was exactly as pictured in the listing.the room was great! good size, loads of storage space and would be perfect even for two people. overall, good value and i would totally stay here again. ernesto, eduardo, and osuni were all kind and helpful to the best of their ability.
the breakfast is only cereal, bread and fruits. do not expect a full breakfast if you come. i found that the shower in my unit wasn’t the best. the water kept spilling through the doors and needed several towels to keep the water contained despite the door. note that the amenities are minimal! you’re paying for a room, and aren’t getting anything extra.note that luggage storage is in an open kitchen area where other non residents of the hotel can also store their luggage. as a resident, i requested the staff to keep an eye on my stuff on my last day as i had a later flight and they were super helpful!on my first day, i had trouble getting any support as only the housekeeper was around in the afternoon. the hotel could do a better job at keeping their front desk staffed or atleast inform the residents of the hours they’ll be around. overall, none of these things were huge and in the end i still had a very very pleasant experience and loved the place. i would come back!
