Hotel Bristol

The hotel enjoys an excellent location.

This hotel is run down, tired, and in a general state of disrepair. It is most definitely NOT a three star hotel; indeed, it might not even be a two star hotel.

The location, service and price was perfect. I've stayed there 3 times.

The staff is incredibly friendly and resourceful

Tucking bed sheets so tight you can't get in. The restaurant and breakfast menu and the service of the waiters. Tranquility.

Lack of sap on tv. That the rack rate was cheaper than the rate I paid on booking

The location is nice, close to "ángel de la independencia", and it's located in a quiet area and "arena México" (if you want to watch "lucha libre")

The matress was a bit hard, but it was ok

They cancelled my booking. When I called, they pretended that they didn't remember who I was. During the phonecalk, I heard someone who sounded like they were pretending they had my voice! Note: I stayed there for around eight months if my unmarried & miss-my-child life!!!!

Not very clean (eg stains in the sheets), everything was very old (carpets, shower curtain, drawers, safety box)

The only positive points on this hotel are: location and the kindness of chambermaid.

Extremely confusing reception staff. My check-in at 4h30pm has taken approx. 45 minutes to be done. Hotel very old. Needs complete renovation. Beds are VERY, VERY hard and uncomfortable.Bedroom was clean. Common areas not so much. Doors are thin and you can hear every word said in the corridor. In short: bad value for money. I do not recommend.

The staff were not very friendly or helpful. Except with check out in the afternoon the staff were kind.

The room was very noisy, all types of noise, from outside and inside I could hear the pipes very loud that I woke up in the middle of the night. The bedsheets were old and no nice smell. The bed also making noise. Even from the beginning, from checkin , I had to wait almost 1 h to take my room, even if I arrive at 3 pm, when it’s time for it. The pictures with the rooms are not corresponding with the reality.
