Hotel Carlota

Hotel Carlota provides affordable style, convenience, and comfort. The staff is friendly, and courteous. I also like the bar--great drinks--and there is a fine restaurant for those wanting to dine at the hotel.

It was super cold in the room. Didn't have heat.

La atenci¿n de los empleados es excelente y el cafe es muy rico.

Me parece que en la habitaci¿n hace falta un mueble con gavetas para acomodar ropa, sobre todo cuando la estancia es mayor a 3 dias. Senti que casi no tenia espacio para poner cosas y la maleta quedaba siempre a la vista.

Odd mix of premium products but industrial styling. Noisy. Small room. Sink separate from shower and toilet. Toilet.

Excellent location and I felt my room was very clean.

Too noisy for me. They play music quite loudly during the day until about 8 o’clock at night so don’t think about a nap there. It’s very open and easy to hear conversations in the center area. The Internet did not work well in the room, but worked in the common areas.

To be honest is way to much the price , I will value this hotel for 35 dlrs no more, smells like cement, horrible place

Interesting design and good location.

It felt cold and it didn’t feel very clean. As a four star I also expected to have more service - like complimentary coffee or just a warmer ambience in the rooms - it was also very loud.

I really liked the location — it was convenient, walkable, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The room had great AC, which made it comfortable to sleep at night, and the bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable.

The rustic and raw concept wasn’t very comfortable or luxurious. The room felt a bit small and lacked basic conveniences like mirrors, a small table, and a chair to sit or get dressed. There was only one nightstand and only one side of the bed with outlets and no reading lamps. The bathroom wasn’t spotless, and the water pressure fluctuated a lot — at times dropping, then suddenly blasting with very hot water, which made showering uncomfortable.

Location on Reforma is perfect. Easy access to everything by walking including many restaurants. The bathroom has everything including a robe and slippers. Very spacious room. Very clean.

My first morning there I had the manager knocking at 9am asking to check something which was too early to be knocking and woke me. They eventually came back to clean at 10:30. I get they might want to clean early but typically that happens between 11am - 3pm.

Location is superb close to great restaurants, bars and cafes. Safe area

Im a solo travellor and slept in buses, hostels and hotels. Im was prepared to sleep in noise. Im on lvl 1 in this property and this is a noisy hotel. I had ear plugs so didnt bother me. It may be a concern for others.

Hotel Carlota is a little hidden gem in CDMX. It's a great value and centrally located to all the great neighborhoods. The pool area is a great place to chill out and listen to music or work on your laptop.

I've stayed at Hotel Carlota before so I have nothing bad to say.

The swimming pool and the accommodation are really nice.

The pictures of the room doesn't really correspondant as the reality, the wall are not even paint everywhere and have some holes.
