    Pros +

    • Close to historic sites, quiet street, very nice restaurant, friendly staff.
    • Staff is attentive and friendly. This hotel is located in the old section of Mexico City, perfect location.
    • Breakfast staff very welcoming friendly and efficient

    Cons -

    • A bit more air in the room a bit stuffy
    • No hot water either of the 2 days I stayed. It was barely warm - and this was early in the morning. The window in the bathroom could not be closed so it was cold!
    • The cleaning service of the room. Some days the room was not cleaned at all, the bedsheets and towels were not changed, the bed was not made. After returning from our daily tour in the city, we had to claim from the reception to send someone to clean the room and bring clean bedsheets and towels. Several times we found stains on the bedsheets and towels. The bathroom sink was not always well cleaned. The breakfast buffet was not always well arranged, the fruits were not of the best quality. The waiters were excessively overzealous, offering various things when it was not necessary, which amounted to harassment, with the purpose to receive tips.

Great location 2 blocks south of the Alameda park.

The location was very good - easy access on foot to the Historical Center of the city.

Central location. Comfy beds, friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Good restaurant with the best service. I liked that we could choose smaller meals for breakfast rather than the all you can eat buffet

The hot water took a long time to heat up. Very small bathroom which made it difficult to maneuver around at night without making noise.

Stayed from one night in an updated room (no carpet) and found it very comfortable. Room pictures were accurate, if anything room was larger than expected. Room was extremely clean, couldn't fault it. Huge and comfortable bed with super fresh bed linen. Plenty of room for luggage. Desk area was great. Wouldn't rate the view from the room. Found the staff to be very friend and helpful. We stored luggage after check-out and was very easy. there is a 7/11 convenience shop 1 minute walk away and also filtered water tap in the bathroom. Very walkable centro historic areas. No complaints.

Excellent location, close from Bellas Artes. The zocalo is a few minutes by walking. The hotel is clean and is really recommendable.

It was comfortable, near of funny places and variety of foods.

Some lights are not functioning but most of them were OK for the illumination.

Location was very good, the rooms were clean. The service was bad, the staff rude and they overcharged me and then blamed me and said I was out of luck because I should have told them right away I was charged to much. I didn’t know until I compared my receipt to my booking confirmation. Once we got settled in our room they called the room and said they rented our room to someone else by mistake and we needed to move. Not sure why they didn’t give the room they moved us to to the other people. We forgot our room key and I went to ask the guy at the front desk for a new one and he rudely and abruptly asked my room number, got me a key and tossed it on to the counter with other even looking at me. We rented two rooms for my family and ended up leaving early due to how we were treated .

Fantastic value for money in a clean and quiet room. The buffet breakfast (not included) was excellent. Great location.

Reception staff were polished and professional but could smile a little more

Clean and close to city center

Loud night club next door blasting music till 3am and the wifi was unusably slow!

    8ChitraPosted on: 1-5-2026

Spacious room with table and chair. Comfortable beds. Not too far from the center.

It's a lovely hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is very central, close to the historical part of Mexico.

Pillows were very hard. The room was fairly comfortable, but the small window looked out into the wall of another building.Aircon was blowing but not changing the tempreture in the room.

    The location

The TV was very old; the towels were torn; TV programming was really poor. They didn't change the glasses for the water.

    I ain’t going back!!!

You can literally here your neighbor. They are doing construction past 12 midnight and 7:00 am everyday!!!

The location is great. Close to Bellas Artes, Foreign Affairs, etc.

The world's worst internet . I couldn't get anything done online. The signal dropped about every two minutes. So frustrating. It was the same on my previous stay there, but they told me it was a temporary problem. This is obviously not the case. So, with no working Internet, we turned on the TV. There were about 10 working channels, all of which looked like an Alaskan snow storm was taking place. Internet 0/10 & TV 0/10.

The accommodation was great for our group, with comfy beds and dining area.

The night I was there the external noise due to a party was not quite comfortable. Besides, there were fewer channel choices on the TV to look for.
