    Pros +

    • Location is safe.
    • Location is great. You can go anywhere via metro or bus. Room was decent.
    • The location and the facilties to relax. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good.

    Cons -

    • The city sewer line sits right at the corner of the hotel on the street and smells the entire time regardless if it?s morning evening or in the middle of the night. The smell gets worse as a day progress.
    • There is a meditation corner(ground sitting setup) It is pretty dusty due to fluffy materials. Also if you want to take shower in early morning warm water takes 5-7 minutes.
    • The breakfast was disappointing.

    The breakfast was disappointing.

Loved the suites. Everything had character and it was in a perfect location. Close to museums and other attractions but away from noise except the occasional siren. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful

Lighting needs to be better in the bathrooms and a few standing lamps wouldn’t go amiss. Occasionally a sewage smell from the drains in the bathroom.

It’s very clean and the breakfast is very good. There’s coffee and tea making facilities in the bedroom.

It’s noisy. You can hear everyone in the corridors. The Downtown area that the hotel is based in (it’s not in Reforma despite the name) was very very busy over Christmas when I visited. There isn’t much around in terms of restaurants or places to go in the evening. It is super convenient to get into the centre so great for sightseeing if you only had a night or two

Location is in the central historic district so easy walking distance to lots of things to see and do. Hotel restaurant was good, especially the buffet breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Situation. Very close to Metro, bus and the Historical Centre

Impersonal really because a big hotel.

    6RhianPosted on: 11-24-2025

It was a perfectly fine place. Served its purpose near where we wanted to be. Clean

Roof top I felt was misrepresented. Noisy and smaller than I expected. No character to the hotel. But I probably shouldn’t expect that

    10KolbyPosted on: 11-20-2025

Incredible views. Kind staff. Rooftop terrace with outstanding view of reforma and the city. The meditation was really sweet. We took a 7pm yoga class with Irais that was wonderful. The concept of the hotel is very cool and the execution is well done. The lobby is charming with great prices on trinkets from across Mexico. The staff throughout the whole hotel provide a top level of service, from the valet to the bellhop, to the front desk, etc.

It’s not the most comfortable bed, but not bad. Two glasses of white wine on the rooftop were over 500 pesos, but I suppose you’re paying for the view.

It had a cool boho, hippie vibe. Could be nice but was just dirty

Super dirty unfortunately!! Needs a good clean. Floors were filthy in our room

    8KatiePosted on: 10-20-2025

Great rooftop areComfortable bedsVery cleanWater machines on every floor Great location - right on the edge of the historical centre & easy walk to Roma / condesa

No hot water at certain hours (e.g, when we were up at 4am for the hot air balloon)Old loud air con machine, but we got used to it

Clean and cute. Staff very kind and helpful. Walking distance from several iconic locations and restaurants.

Nice hotel, in city centre, kind staff

Not all staff speak englishRoom should have had a separate living room that was not presentLittle dusty roomOld structureNot a 5 star

I loved brunch, I loved my room, but overall I loved the price and how friendly and helpful the staff was.

    4NoePosted on: 9-21-2024

    Room was quiet.

Restroom smelled of urine.Had to sign an affidavit stating I didn’t take anything from the room.

    5KurtPosted on: 8-17-2024

Good location close to the centre.

Description of rooms is misleading. What is called « suite » is just an ordinary room. There were no separate living room and bedroom as advertized in the description. Quality of service in restaurant is below standard.

The hotel offer a "local" braeakfast. You need to speak Spanish to order some food or to communicate with the staff at the place.

The hotel claims to be a 5 star hotel. This is by no means appropriate nor ok. It is at the best a 3-4 star hotel with local "flavor". You better stay at the Hilton close by.

Choose a different place to stay at

I booked the hotel for three nights. I made a mistake - just needed two night. The staff at the hotel insist on paying me for three nights, because it was a non-refundable rate. I would expect more customer orientation and support since I definitely needed two nights only.
