    Pros +

    • The location and staff are spectacular
    • The staff and service was excellent. We loved the early coffee and pastry as we are early risers. The beds were comfortable and just a lovely experience. We would recommend your hotel and stay there again.
    • A beautiful hotel thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay in one of the best neighborhoods in CDMX. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the restaurant and bar served great breakfasts and late night drinks.

    Cons -

    • The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. I stayed there twice. First I took a basic room and it felt really small. Second I booked the biggest suite they had and couldn’t sleep because there were “window cleaners” outside my room for 2 hours practically yelling at each other while “working”. The hotel offered me a free massage to compensate which I declined because I was leaving the next day
    • There were a few breakfast items that were not as well prepared as others But we enjoyed the breakfast and found some things that were well prepared. Great and friendly service. The overall experience was so wonderful we wouldn’t fault the few food items. And the decaf lattes were excellent!
    • Not good value for money. Small rooms with no windows. Noisy AC.

The staff make this hotel an excellent place to stay. The rooms are small (beds are double rather than king) and lack outside windows ( which eliminates street noise). Breakfast was great, dinner was only OK. Very close to multiple high quality restaurants, vintage clothes shops and souvenir shops

The location is amazing and the staff is really one do a kind. The hotel is beautiful But I stayed in the deluxe room 105 facing the street but it was really impossible to sleep as it was really noisy ( and it was a Sunday !!) a few things didn’t work properly and I couldn’t even charge my phone for example….

Not good value for money. Small rooms with no windows. Noisy AC.

Location is perfect for exploring Roma Norte. The top floor suite with a bath mezzanine was delightful. Bed was super-comfortable, shower had good pressure, bathroom amenities were sumptuous.

By the third day, breakfast service was starting to unravel a bit (busy weekend?), housekeeping would sometimes be late in the day, common areas/hallways could use a good vacuum...

The location is excellent, and the staff is friendly and very helpful with any questions you may have. The front desk team goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

The room I stayed in had no window, which, for €300 a night, I would consider standard. Apparently, that’s not the case at this hotel.

    Good location and nice breakfast

Construction work went on from 9am-9pm every day immediately outside bedrooms, no warning and no apology. Also in a room close to the stairs, often woken by people coming into the hotel. Room didn’t have a window to the outside, only to a corridor which makes it feel very small. In no way a 5* hotel, rough round the edges at best and only saved by the location.

Booked for my sister & her husband’s honeymoon trip and they have not stopped raving about this hotel, super friendly and informed staff. Also breakfast is incredible

I’ve stayed here three times now. The staff always go above and beyond to help us with our stay. Gabriella at the front desk Concierge helped us with advice on where to go to, store our luggage and any other help we needed. They upgraded us to a better room too since they had the availability.

    Nothing. It’s perfect.

Great location in Roma Norte. Friendly service.

Rooms felt tired and were small- especially the bathrooms. They have a large outdoor roof top space but never had service there. Food was just okay.

Small room. Off putting bathroom smell

    Fantastic location

The rooms were small with just a queen size bed and no window.

The location of the Brick was excellent! Right off the main road with all the restaurants and shops. Plenty of museums and parks within walking distance. The hotel staff were kind and helpful; I scheduled a massage for the Hela spa one day and the service was great! The nightly turndown service with Mexican cookies was a pleasant surprise. Room service was also excellent!

For the price of our room and the marketing of it being part of the “small luxury hotels of the world” group, we were expecting much more. Our deluxe room had a terrace facing the street, and there was ZERO soundproofing; you could hear every single noise outside. One morning there was a business conference in the open-air restaurant and we had to listen to speakers talking from 7am-noon. We should have realized that when we saw the ear plugs on the night stand. The bathroom area was very, very small, and dated - peeling paint and dirty sink caulking. The TV is marketed as a smart TV, but the system was dated and very complicated and the only option was Netflix.

Our room was great, spacious and had a good amount of storage and room. The lobby and bar area were comfortable. The service was fantastic. All of the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful.

The hotel is pricey for CDMX. It is a splurge but the location and hospitality make it worth it. Just make sure you get a room with a window.

The breakfast which was included with our room was very good.

Our room had no exterior windows. While it was in the hotels description on the website I missed it. I would have booked a different room.

    2AndrewPosted on: 11-14-2023

the staff and the food were very good

the room was really poor and we should have moved or got a refund. The room was a duplex suite but was like an airless glass box dependent on airconditioning throughout. Even the "sundeck" was not exposed to the air.
